Tesco will replace damaged bags for life for free
Many people will know this already but for those who do not, if you have a Tesco bag for life and it gets worn out they will replace it free of charge in any store. Not exactly deal of the century but 'every little helps'.
Don't know about other supermarkets so let me know if you have returned any

It`s not a case, it`s a bag
You're not telling me that they tried to sneak this in as a deal?
The second one hidden in the folds of the bottom. When scanned makes it free.
Explaining why every now and again some ‘Genius’ tells us of a glitch to get them free. Despite it being a scam and fraudulent behaviour.
Wearing Tesco bags?
Due to wearing; like you said above.
Of course; after the first exchange you then have a new bag (to exchange when that one breaks).
nah... they will just collect you in that bag and deliver for free wherever you wish
sigh.
Bumbag
No ffs the serious 'Chapman' google it
I know you are serious my brother uses one all the time.
But if you buy less you can use a bumbag
There is a serious disadvantage and design flaw with the Bags for Life as the plastic handles are glued (bonded) onto the bag. This means that too much weight, the handles come apart from the Carrier Bag. A normal standard bag made from a single piece of plastic has a better tensile strength and less likely to break. Unfortunately from experience found that putting a couple of heavy items into the bag (cartons of milk), the handles fell apart.
Alright Trigger
bring back the thin plastic bags, and scrap the thick plastic bags for life. (edited)
Have you ever had a problem changing a carrier bag at tesco? I had to complain about my local tesco express because they wear causing problems with replacing damaged 10p bag for life
