Too many barriers to purchase to be hot for me.

My order was scheduled for 8-9pm yesterday. No one came, and no one contacted me. Great service!

An email came today, confirming cancellation without explanation.

I just called and waited in a queue for almost half an hour to be told it’s out of stock and they can’t reschedule for when it's back in.

I agree with the post above. Sainsbury's deals should be voted cold. Sainsbury’s' model of treating all products as groceries means that they don't provide accurate stock levels, just a "we'll send what we have" approach, which means they can offer anything at any price, so long as you order >£40 of goods to justify the delivery. I'd already been told in-store that they'd been instructed to take this and LA Noir off the shelves and return all copies, which is suspect. I appreciate that some people managed to get copies before they took them off the shelves, but they're still available to add to basket now, despite being out of stock. I suppose you could play them at their own hame, and order 5 copies of this and a tub of ice cream, so they have to deliver ice cream to your door for the princely sum of a quid!

I’ll not be fooled again, my first and last Sainsbury’s order. (edited)

I ordered, added some others bits I didn’t really need to make the order £40, drove all the way there only to be told it was out of stock. Complete waste of time and effort.

I will not be buying anything from Sainsbury’s using this method again. Any deals like this should be voted cold.

You shouldn't get anything for the poor attempt at profiteering.

    Ordered five for collection.

Greedy. Unless you have five switches and plan on giving them as gifts.

Why would I have 5 switches and then give the games away as gifts?

My point exactly, why is there a need for you to take five?

They’re not really bringing you down. They’re just calling you out on doing something a bit douchey and then bragging about it openly.

Roll with the punches if you don’t care, but don’t act like you’ve got the ‘upper ground’, as morally you clearly haven’t. (edited)

Minimum order of £25 (including game) before they will deliver plus £7 delivery if its not over £40.
So only really a deal if you include it in a big shop.
Unless someone knows a better way.....?

Just been in the big one in Sunderland. None out, so I asked and was told they were instructed to withdraw this and LA Noir from sale and return all copies on Friday. Wasted journey.
