I will identify as a woman for the day so that I'll only have to carry 10kg.

Obviously in the spirit of equality, women will choose to carry the larger sack.....or is it 'what's yours is mine but what's mine is mine' ?

Yeaaaah because we all chose to be physically smaller, with a smaller heart …Yeaaaah because we all chose to be physically smaller, with a smaller heart, lungs, and fewer muscle fibres

I’ll identify myself as a 20kg potato bag and just enjoy being carried for a mile.

Whoa, 20kg for men and 10kg for women? If we want equality you can't pick and choose when it suits.
  9. deleted2007399's avatar
Sexist. Make the women carry 20kg.

Never say I'm not on the side of women when searching for equality.

Feminists only want equality on the things that benefit women.

You never see them campaigning for gender equality in the bin collection or construction industry - but that high paid comfortable indoor office job? Gimme gimme gimme!!

You can if it's based on biological physiological differences, not socially constructed differences.

Wouldn’t be the first time a woman’s had a sack emptied down her back if this was to split
  19. athonjohn93's avatar
The women will carry half as much, but they will earn half as much too. So, this is equal pay for equal work. Very progressive.

I yearn for true gender equality. I have no patience for one who talks about female privilege when it suits them, and then complains about someone "Not being a man" when it''s convenient!

It should be that you get what you can carry, if a smaller skinny man can carry less, then they get less, if a more muscular woman can carry more, they get more and visa versa. (edited)

Not half as strong or half a size heart, Jasmin Paris recently obliterated a field of athletes to win an open ultramarathon. Women are very strong and most more determined. 20kg for everyone

A blonde, brunette, and redhead are all running from these killers. They find a shack that has 3 potato sacks in it and decide to hide there in the sacks. The killers find the shack and see the sacks. They kick the first one with the brunette in it. She says “meow, meow!”.So they think it’s a cat in there. They move on and kick the second one with the redhead in it. She says “ruff, ruff!, and they think it’s a dog in it. So they kick the last one with the blonde in it and she says “potato, potato!”

I always remember at least 15 years ago, a shop assistant who was tall, very heavy and quite butch demanding a skinny as a rake teenage shop assistant to carry an item of furniture to a customers car "as he was male" I find that both funny and shocking looking back.

And when working in factories female staff demanding men do all the heavy lifting but expecting same pay for doing all the easy work.

Always found "equality" a fascinating and funnily enough inequal.

In this sort of scenario its both insulting to males and females, it implies the man should carry the heavy load because of his gender and assumes the woman can only carry the smaller load because of her gender, id assume that a woman that spent a lot of time at gym would outdo a man that does little exercise regardless of body weight.

Physical activity is a choice, so yes. In terms of body weight, 20kg is only 2kg less than 25% of my body weight, doubt there'll be 40 kg women lugging those bags about.

I don't mind doing my fair share of housework, but I disagree with the notion that the amount of housework that needs sharing is in any way objective. Why should I be held to doing 50% of the chores that only she wants doing? I put in enough effort to keep the place to the bachelor pad standards I used to happily live by, if she wants it any tidier it's entirely up to her.

Men and Women aren't physically equal and most likely will never be.... Even a weak guy would be pretty strong when compared to an in shape woman.
