Just a heads up folks - PSN Indonesia has a new 'Tokyo Game Show 2019' sale.
I don't know how much overlap there is with the UK Big In Japan sale, but games like Sekiro (~£29) and Ace Combat 7 (~£22) are on there. It's up to 90% off so there could be some seriously juicy deals.

If you have a US account they are just over £8 each for Castlevania and Contra collections. Gradius Collection is under a fiver. (edited)

King is there right from the off, don't worry!

I mean it's a good game. Just nothing like how comprehensive it was back in the PlayStation/PS2 days. It's very online multiplayer focused with little to do in single player. When I say the arcade mode is short, I mean it's really short. Like 4 matches short.

But you'll probably enjoy playing about with King for a bit. (edited)

I have the alerts and yeah I'd seen that I'd missed it.

Heat for the effort! All the titles I'm interested in (incl Zanki Zero and Shibuya Scramble) are still too expensive or available at similar price as physical copies.

I don't think any game has held it's value as much as Sekiro, it rarely budges on digital or physical. It's pretty much the only PS4 game I want that I don't have.

It did last time I played about 5 months ago or so. Iron rain looks like a refreshing change to the formula - like EDF with some polish. I love the EDF games but they generally innovate very very little, and you can't even do something simple like swap out the wing diver costume so she doesn't look like a stripper

Insane value for a game that has taken 200 hours of my life on PS4 and Switch.

Oh, good discount on Seven Deadly Sins - something that's actually cheaper to get digitally than physically.
Might be time I bit on LWA - got the Japanese physical but not sure it has English subs, and ofc no Western physical available.
Disappointed these no discounted DLC for Senran Kagura.

Yeah I played 4.1 to death (even got the plat, what a ), so 5 mightn't be different enough for me. I kinda wish they just merged the best elements of 5 and IR.

Depends how much you like fighting games. There's a lot to like about it. It's mechanically good. Has a large roster. The addition of being able to customise the soundtrack with using music from previous Tekkens is nice for fans of the series. Really great how they managed to integrate Akuma seamlessly. But some of the characters (key characters) are locked out behind season passes like Geese and Lei Wulong.

But then most fighting games have taken to this absolutely poo poo practice.

If you're having to ask, I'm assuming you're not massively into Tekken or fighting games. In which case I'd find it hard to recommend. There's not a lot to do in it. The Arcade mode is pathetically short. The endings are crap.

But then again it's only 13 quid for the basic version which will entertain you for a few hours at least.

Don't know what happened to fighting games. Nowt like the 90s or 00s. (edited)

£30 used from game, well worth it. Platinum is a grind but the sense of achievement when you get it is immense

Spider-Man and God of War did for a long time. I remember getting the pair for £15 with Tesco vouchers I got through Rakuten and still not played them and that was about a year ago but both were 30 then and even now are 20 maybe?
