I think it'd be fine if there were a few games in one deal title, but when there are 5-6+ separate posts for individual games from the same person for the same retailer, posted within minutes of each other, and a few people are doing that..yeah it gets a bit silly.
For the TGC sale on Black Friday there were over 30 individual posts, which actually made me less inclined to check the gaming section (first-world problems).

I don't blame the experts who do this as the Pepper program has kinda made it a competition with even a league table of sorts, though the people in charge won't actually say what exact conditions are needed for experts to do well.

My problem with it is that hotukdeals and now select members are both taking an unkown cut from selling stuff to us through this site.

Funny you say that when I first joined the site I posted a deal that was removed only to be posted later by a pepper member. I asked why that was and got blanked. If they aren’t following their own rules of removing reposts it shows the slippery slope has started.

What have I started here? Clearly a lot of people thinking similarly.

I’m all for the odd post to highlight a hidden gem e.g. a non-expert posted The Hong Kong Massacre this morning. I’d never heard of it before, and it’s piqued my interest. But when an Expert is evidently, systematically going through Buba/Joey/Copperspock’s list and re-posting everything highlighted in bold because it’s the lowest price to date, without thanking the people who did the leg work...

It’s interesting that Pepper repeatedly mention “rewarding” the Experts. Is “pay” a dirty word? Maybe, in this context.

What's the quickest way to check the previous lowest price?

As a quick check for a specific game, PSPrices.com snd PSDeals.net both have the price history for each game (PSPrices goes back further).
As a general aide, I use the PS Store Helper extension for Chrome - it adds price history and Metacritic scores to PSN as you browse
To find out the current cheapest region for a game, I use PSN4.com (edited)

Aye, an extra £5 for all the DLC is definitely worth it. I kept on missing it for £10 - £11 on PSN, but £13 physical for all that game is an absolute bargain.

Get BoxVR... It's more of a workout than a game but it's great. No motion sickness, you stand still as orbs come towards you and you punch them with the right kind of punch (uppercut, hook, jab)... It's not usually on sale for less than 25 quid but it's worth it. (edited)

anyone know if the multiplayer for killzone shadow fall is still active?

It still had players on when I booted it up in August (this year) to get the Platinum. Needed to download the free maps. Without them it was much harder to get a game going with real players. I wouldn't say it was great but there was players on to get some games going.

You can also play against bots but if you want to get the Platinum trophy, then you will need to work on the supply box challenge with real players or find a boosting buddy to help with it. All the other abilities can be done with the bots.

Downloads, downloading is easier as long as you have good Internet and it's unlimited (saves having to put disks in the console).
Downloads are better if you know you'll keep the game,disk copies are better if you want to try it out, at least then you can sell on if you don't enjoy the game.

Reeeeeeeaaaaaly bad deals. I wouldn't even call them deals. Most of these titles have been cheaper and or are constantly at around these prices. This black Friday has been a joke and so has Cyber Monday. Pshhh

You can but it requires extra steps...

1st, you need to create a PSN account in that country (Google the address of a hotel for your "home" address)
Then, you need to get credit for that country - you used to be able to use Revolut / Starling cards directly for a few stores but that's not possible any more. You can get US / Canadian credit from amazon.com / PCGameSupply / Grey Market sellers and you can get other regions (Indonesia is usually good) from Offgamers / Seagm.
Log in to your ps4 as that account (which will set your ps4 as primary for the account) & download your games.
Log out and back in with your main account - you will be able to play the games as your main account.

Apologies if it's been posted already, but if you received the email with a code for the christmas theme and it did not include any additional codes for discount at checkout you should try converting the email to plain text, as the codes may still be there (codes for 10%, 20% and 30% off)


In Gmail, the easiest way to do this is to download the email to your computer (it'll be an eml file), and then open the email in windows through chrome itself (right click > open with chrome.exe). If there are codes, they will be directly below the code for the theme.

They won't be there for everyone, but if one person gets lucky than posting this was worth it. The discount codes expire at 23:59 GMT 19/12/2019.
