It puts the lackluster steam sales to shame. Hopefully the competition will push Valve and the rest to be more aggressive with their prices and sales.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey for £9.99 is a steal, such a good game and tons of content.

Still a garbage site when compared with steam, but more power to those who want to use it.

Ill just buy the games on steam after they've been beta tested on the epic store.

According to what I’ve read on reddit, once you buy an Ubisoft game on Epic it automatically activates the game in Uplay. Following that the Epic client isn’t needed and the game can be launched directly from Uplay. (edited)

Yeah it will add the game to your UPlay and you'll never have to use Epic to run the game. I did this with Division 2 in the last sale.

subnautica sub zero is another good game to stack vouchers with. £5.49 and another £10 voucher to use.

My final voucher use will definitely be griftlands but I may stack more vouchers yet. (edited)

Exclusives are anticompetitive practice, they attempt to close a market to reduce long term competition. There are now 4-5 marketplaces and only two of them are open.

Also I don't owe them anything, if they don't want to engage the market fully then I'm happy not to support them. And as I said I'm more than happy to pay for the convenience of the platform I want.

Still quite poor compared to steam due to lack of screenshots, a wishlists, achievements etc but I'm not fussed if the prices are good

Outer Wilds for £10 is a bargain; brilliant game.
It's recently won quite a few awards & nominations too.

Imagine being old enough to have a credit / debit card to buy games, and yet still feel the need to tell everyone that you won't use a certain online store repeatedly

Can't work out what the exact threshold is but is discounting £10 off games that are £13.99 making them £3.99. This is where I wish there was a rolling basket total as I would have loved to pick up Superliminal for £2.79! some very good deals to be had though.

I know this will trigger the steam faithful but if Epic had a feature to move your steam library to the epic store, I’d make the switch.
