Complete goose chase to be honest
Bought a couple. Around 6 left on the shelf. That was yesterday.
Picked up one second hand with a game for £70 and happy with price. To get new is a steal!
Edit: I think this has the potential for a goose chase/very limited store specific stock (clear out).
No one has been able to confirm they have seen them in their Tesco yet apart from OP. But I will still drive down in the morning to have a look (edited)

Its a good little console, so worth it if you find one. More character to it that playing games on your fone.
I just thought, I may as well see if they've got this 2DS XL. I wasn't getting my hopes up... None on shelves.... Went to customer service... she said all stock is out so probably not.... She then typed the barcode from the picture and said they were showing one... Still figured it would be an error and voila. She appeared with the 2DS XL.
Even better because it's now dropped to £50! AND I got £5 off, so £45. (This said, the voucher didn't activate despite being valid according to T&C's so she gave me £5 on a gift card instead.) It was the last one there so doesn't matter which store! Might even be the last one in the company!?

I'd recommend you ask at the customer service desk or call your local store/s on the 0345 numbers at tesco.com/sto…uk/ and ask if they have it in stock. I was in the Dingwall store later in the day and had a wee look in the aisle out of interest and again no DS stock at all, I'm assuming they're prioritising shelf space to the Switch Lite. (edited)
