Someone just asked the question on the course....

Hello is there a voucher for taking the exam?
As of July 2020, we have updated our program and now have a voucherless system. Instead of a voucher, a 100% discount for the AZ-900 exam will automatically be applied to your Microsoft account. Instructions for registering for the exam and using this discount will be sent directly to the email that you registered within 4 – 5 business days. Please be sure to check your spam filter. If you have not received your voucher after 5 business days and it is not in your spam filter, please visit aka.ms/mvt…ort. If you registered for this session with a different email address, you will be able to link your email address to your Microsoft account. (edited)

Pretty easy course did a similar thing a few months ago and sat the exam (proctored) the next day easy pass - the fundamental exams imo are pretty worthless unless your a 1st line IT bod. However they can add value in your existing role but not finding a new one if that makes sense.

There is no lab component for the AZ-900 exam. You will have 60 minutes to complete the exam and need to score a minimum of 700 of 1000 points to pass

I completed this exam a month ago and my colleague completed it 2 weeks ago. I only had 36 questions and he had 38. Bear that in mind! Gives a bit more pressure during the exam.

Absolutely not! I did a lot of studying after including the official practice exams on measure up.

There is a free course that microsoft provide along with this and I would advise going through that as well.

My exam voucher came next day though I didnt realise until 2 weeks afterwards and then redeemed it

We are currently in BST which is GMT+1, the course is in CEST which is GMT+2 so the course starts at 08:30 BST.

The course is intended for anyone that could potentially interact with their cloud offering. Mainly aimed at IT based engineers & architects, DevOps engineers, IT managers and directors, compliance specialists, as well as procurement/billing types.

Anyone with a credit card and email address can sign up for 30 days with £150 credit to go have a play with a trial (plus free services for 12 months). Note you can't use the same credit card with a fresh email for another trial. Remember to shutdown/delete what you're not using, cost can soon rack up.... Ask me how I know

The cert content has changed slightly since I did it in March, but in my experience, if you're a good test taker and have much experience in IT you can pass it from this course alone. I did a day at their HQ and walked straight in to their exam room. There were some questions on content that wasn't covered, however, like I said, with some general IT knowledge and some good exam sense it's passable. If you're one of those people, and you can honestly say you've paid attention and take notes, don't wait unnecessarily or waste money on additional practice exams. Having passed ~10 cert exams now I can say it's totally normal to not be 100% confident for them; I only knew I'd passed before seeing my result on a couple of occasions and I'm glad I didn't spend too long studying.

The usual really. Do not go back through and change answers as its the worse thing to do. More terminology based. If you can get to grips with terminology then you will probably be fine.

My son is an apprentice roughly 1 month in as a web dev at a local authority. Will recommend this to him, cheers.

When booking, the small print states "Prior to registering for this training, government employees must check with their employers to ensure their participation is permitted and in accordance with applicable policies and laws."

Did anyone who works for the govt do this?

    Really?! How so?

Development of Azure is insane, the OG exam syllabus isnt completely reflective of its current state and they're aligning with role based certs across the board now.

Changes here (and nested in the pdf at bottom):

Recently just passed my Az-900 with this voucher.

Just to clarify - you don't need to stay for the duration of the webinars, you just need to be able to attend each one and that will mark your attendance (the email invitation)

You can't attend one and not the other.

The information they do provide in the webinars are salesy as this isn't much of a practical test, but more of understanding Azure itself.

Great course- can take a while for the voucher to come through. I’d recommend getting some practice questions too -I used whizlabs (around £10) but there are others.

TBH I'm not too sure about the payment models as my company pays for these things. This might help - azure.microsoft.com/en-…aq/. I know with my Visual Studio enterprise account I get ~$150 a month to play with stuff.

I always find the Azure prices a little obfuscated, I don't think it is intentional it's just that charges are so granular that it makes things hard to understand.

Yeah you need a web cam. Need a laptop or PC with only one screen connected. Clear the background of any loose papers or notes etc. You will have to send pictures of the room just before the exam starts and someone will approve it and let you take the exam.

Passed the exam last week. Had to reschedule it once due to work which was also free.
