The website does suggest the android version is coming soon, lets hope that happens

Just worked for me. Get deal opened new tab in Safari then launched the App Store.
Pretty straight forward yes.
Go to App Store -> Subscriptions -> Cancel and even if you cancel it will run the course of the free year.
I was just going to say that they will be banking on lots of people forgetting they have an auto-renew subscription on it.

I already had a free trial to this. I had no free trial to cancel because I had already cancelled it. To claim the new free trial you claim it inside the app. Click upgrade on the profile screen in the top left. If upgrade is missing you already have a subscription live.
I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it and then the upgrade button appeared in the app again. This takes you to the subscription screen in iPad and should say 1 year free trial. You can then cancel the subscription straight away and the 1year trial stays live with no automatic resubscription.

Instead I just downloaded the app and registered on the app. As soon as I got to the end of the registration it gave me the 1 year free subscription.
Hope this helps anyone having problems on iPad.
Did you download the app first before clicking the link - as its trying to open the app and when it doesnt find it, then it complains of an invalid link

In the app store you can cancel the subscription right now, and if submitting Paypal details pre-approval for payments can also be cancelled.
I've only tried the free versions of Balance and Headspace but I find the headspace guy's voice really annoying so prefer Balance or Calm.
