    For general office use personally I would say the benefits aren’t worth it unless you have extra cash lying around and just want to brag how excellent your web browsing looks on 144hz. Movies mostly won’t look any different as the majority aren’t even filmed higher than 30fps. TVs use interpolation trickery to make it look smoother, but I’m starting to talk out of my league here

    There’s a lot of options for QHD 60hz IPS panels, I can’t recommend a singular one as it’s not something I’ve looked into much myself unless somebody else can help you

    Mine got delivered today. I had originally ordered for £351 on the 5th of November. Tracking stopped updating about a week later and was told it was lost in transit. I cancelled and reordered for £280 on the 13th. The tracking picked up from where it left off at Lutterworth so I assume they found the original one. Good luck guys hope you all get it before your expected delivery dates.

    Thanks you so much!! I was contacting the personal sales section and that guy was fairly adamant saying the offer has expired and it's a mistake. Also started asking me the name of agent who gave the deal to report them lol. Won't budge at all. When I contacted the business division after noticing that in your chat log, it was a piece of cake. She just offered me £284 straight away. Zero need to negotiate.

    On the one hand, we are congratulating ourselves for having uncovered a quasi-misprice and taking advantage of Dell's shaky information sharing. On the other we are berating them for ... poor information sharing. Are we trying to have it both ways?

    I'm happy to wait. But I guess everyone's needs are different.

    Just got an email update from UK customer service team . After persisting with this I got some new info

    “Factory team confirmed that parts will be recovery will be in 2 business days so once after the order i produced it will ship so you can further track this order on the below link”

    Might be worth waiting 2 days before cancelling

    Pending payment disappearing is typical with dell.

    When you purchase with them they send a dummy payment to the card which never gets cleared with the bank.

    Once they ship the product they will take the payment.

    £312 still being quoted through customer service with student discount.

    Any payment taken is most likely a dummy payment which disappears after a few days - this is how dell manage transactions in most cases. Your order isn’t cancelled if the payment doesn’t clear with the bank; the full amount will be taken once the product is shipped. (edited)

    Mine's here, no dead pixels or anything and no backlight bleed. Basically the same as the S2721DGF I have had since October and which they are allowing me to return now. They also agreed to give me a 10% refund on the DGFA due to the delay, so looking into that now. Very happy with that!

    said i couldnt get my student discount to work and would they be able to do a discount for me, said my friend asked on chat and was offered 292. She said that it was 20% on monitors and that was the max she could give me so i just went with that but think some people have been getting 292 still. If you don't get someone that plays ball end the chat and start again and make sure the box that says connect to the same agent is unchecked (edited)

    It’s more expensive than standard QHD monitors as it’s got a higher refresh rate - 165hz and Nano IPS panel... If that’s something your interested in then this monitor is very good value for specs, otherwise go for a standard 60hz-70hz QHD monitor which will be much cheaper.

    I didn't have an order number. I just said that I recently bought the S2721DGF for 331 and have seen people are getting the S2721DGFA for as low as 278. I asked if they could refund the difference or if I could return and place a new order. I did give them my old order number but they said that I would have to go through a different department for the return. Anyway, they immediately offered me 280.80.

    Also, when I called about returning my S2721DGF they gave me the option to refund 30 quid to me rather than having to deal with the return and waiting for a new monitor. I'm not in a rush so took the 280.80 quote - I can return the old monitor within 7 days and the new monitor is scheduled to arrive before then anyway. (edited)

    Yes it's very good, but it's not worth paying this much if you don't need over 60hz for gaming IMO. Get a nice 4k/60 monitor or a cheaper 1440/60.
