I guess people here aren't to bothered about the brand name?

    cost is king.

I've got two Hisense panels in the house, and they're excellent.

Terrible item! I owned this for a couple of days then returned it. Don't be suckered in by the fact that it's 4K, HDMI 2.1 and 120Hz on consoles. It's cheap (considering the specs) for a reason. I paid a couple of hundred more after returning this, for the LG C3. And the difference is night and day. The LG is worth every single penny of the extra I paid.

This was truly terrible for gaming. No idea whether it's a decent TV or not. (edited)

Where did you get a c3 from for just a couple hundred more than this? Everywhere I look is more than double the price

If you go to Curry’s (Leeds Crown Point) they are selling a Hisense TV, 55’’ for £329.. I thought it last week and it’s fab if anybody is looking for an even better deal
    Smoggy1970's avatar
That's not a better deal in terms of specifications.

I just ordered the TCL C741K from Amazon a few days ago and now I have buyers remorse. Already dispatched and hope I’ve made the right decision 😞
    Yoshi123's avatar
Purchased TCL c745K from Costco 2 days ago it's the same TV just with different stand, it's brilliant comparing to my 3 years old Hisense QLED. Once you get it remember to coll TCL (there will be small card) and you will get free Roku stick

Any real difference between this and the LG G3?
    Alex_H's avatar
HDR will be pants on this and amazing on the LG. Also the usual advantages like black levels etc. But then again this is a lot cheaper.

    Need some advice 🙏
Looking for a 75 TV. Budget around £1000. There are a lot of options but don't know what to choose (not an expert) Someone please advise what is best option.
    Thanks

I’d post exactly that here avforums.com/ . Ive used them countless times for this type of question

    Viewing angles on this?
    Smoggy1970's avatar
Yes, it does have viewing angles.

Now I feel bad buying OLED for almost triple this price (2 years ago).

120hz, vrr and qled 65” under 600 quid is a steal lol

I've got the 55" version of this it is superb for gaming with ps5 in 4k especially mw3
  10. metalgrayfox87's avatar
Solid deal. The 55" model is sold at the same price (£599, more expensive than the 65" model) in Argos if you want to use the Argos Card.

    question,

I've got an old Panasonic 55" plasma. Still works perfectly, but with large black bezel.

would this be stupidly large in the Panasonic's place and (perhaps more importantly these days) consume a lot less power?
    sheffield788's avatar
It won't be much larger. Your TV is old and bulky in comparison with newer TVs. I had an old 32 inch that needed replacing. I only had room for 32 inches. I purchased one, and it looked like a miniature TV in comparison with my old one. That's because it was more compact. Replaced it with a 37-inch, which was still slightly smaller than my old 32 inch.
We replaced our 48-inch main TV with a 65-inch. It looked huge. My wife was not happy. Within a week, we've got used to it. Now we think it is the perfect size for our living room.

Delivery 14-28th march, great deal if you can wait a couple weeks

Backlights are really poor on Hisense TV's like this, just to warn you. You don't notice all the time but if you watch football, you're gonna see awful bright fuzzy borders all around the frame, very distracting. I took mine back, then noticed in Currys that all the Hisense ones were the same.
    ad_182_uk's avatar
    Surely thats edgelit ones only

    Great deal

Really good deal this for the money. A lot of high end features. For the AV elite out there, this isn’t for you, but for those who want a large TV, with some decent features, this is a good trigger price! I currently have a 55” CX I game on upstairs and will be getting this for downstairs for casual gaming! The wife likes to leave the tv on so that QLED is ideal!
  16. Opethian's avatar
Is this decent as a monitor? I'm assuming QLED means that there's ssignificantly less chance for burn-in?
  17. jameel_ismail's avatar
    Great price, heat added 🔥
  18. PlaidZ's avatar
    Is that good or bad?

What’s the input lag on this?
    Smoggy1970's avatar
    13ms.
    I Googled it for you.

I'm assuming Amazon only offer the standard 2 year warranty, unlike Costco etc. ?
    Yoshi123's avatar
Most likely yes, my old Hisense TV died after 3 years so definitely worth going for 5 years warranty.
  21. Jacob_Kreed's avatar
    Very Very Very Very tempted.

Is this TV better than the Phillips tv from Costco that was posted recently
    ERIC_SMITH's avatar
They are also my 2 options . I have a philips now and the ambilight is something i would miss but it seems like overall the hisense may be better. Thats what im swaying towards anyway. But wait for someone more knowledgeable to answer

I’m on the lookout for a new tv but there are too many options! Our current tv is a 12 year old Sony so won’t take much to upgrade but I don’t want to jump in and pick the wrong screen.
Our living room faces east so only gets sun on a morning and we don’t really watch much tv till an evening so the room is pretty dark. With this most limited of info would anyone be able to recommend a screen technology?
    Yoshi123's avatar
Watch some videos on YouTube from Stop the Fomo about picking TV. Really good advices. I went with TCL C745 from Costco.

I might be mistaken but a quick Google search and this TV is selling for £549.at Crampton & Moore..is there a slight difference maybe?
    cramptonandmoore.co.uk/his…tml (edited)
    sirkenyard's avatar
Theres pro and standard version. Pro is higher framerate for gaming. I doubt it's normally this price but maybe it is. Their models from worst to best as far as I know are A < E < E pro < U (edited)
  25. yeahoo_3000's avatar
There are other deals with this TV sound bar etc, is that worth it too?
  26. Lloydinio's avatar
Great deal on paper until you read all the reviews that claim the brightness is way too low.
    OhTyler's avatar
It's also supposed to be a gaming TV yet the response time is 13ms. That's rubbish in games like Halo, CoD, Battlefield etc.
  27. DarellLabastide-Fraser's avatar
Does anyone have this tv….what tv bracket did you use to mount it to the wall
  28. scoobydoo888's avatar
    How long is the warranty?
    countcrackula's avatar
    only 1 year
  29. cjsdeals's avatar
i want this so bad, hopefully it's on a decent price just before the euros!
  30. countcrackula's avatar
It's a great price for this spec but 1 year warranty on an almost £600 TV is crazy. I know you're still entitled for it to work for a "reasonable" amount of time for the price and 1 year definitely isn't reasonable but it would be a pain to fight. I called richer sounds and they offered it for £740 lowest with their 6 year warranty which to me is still a bit high being £170 extra. Anyone think the warranty is worth it or not I'm curious to hear opinions
    rich146's avatar
I might be mistaken but I think I read the RS warranty decreases cover as each year passes? Someone may want to correct me or give a clearer explanation
