The player pack includes:

Metronome

Sign up is necessary however.

Sign up? That ruins it for me. Free or otherwise.

It's the "Free Guitar Tuner - Fender Tune" in Android, then when you download it, it offers you the Premium Pro Player pack for free if you sign up, so no Pro name in the app title. Thanks, OP.

Is your counting more accurate than the app's metronome though?

Yes, and his guitar is the guitariest guitar that ever guitared.

    Touche.

The issue, is that I'm not the guitarist in the house. It's my aged father and he doesn't like signing up for stuff. Everything worries him. Data protection included.

    That's a very fair clarification.

    IoS only!

I'm on Android and got it no problem. I think it's just called something slightly different, but all the same stuff as the OP listed.

I just went into the app (which I already have) clicked on the rhythm tab at the bottom and it was advertised there. Clicked sign in and hey presto all the new features.

This is great thank you! For those worried about signups I'd recommend creating a generic email and signup name so that it's not associated with "you". Fender are a great company and aren't exactly asking for DOB or anything apart from name / email here so it's not a big ask for some cool features.

Your tuning by ear is out of tune with the result of digital tuning?

Maybe it's time you used a digital tuner...

I think the pro version on android is called Tune Plus, which seems to include the same features as listed in the description.

Can you / anyone confirm on loading the android app?

It has the advantage of being able to moving A from 440hz to 438hz for example. Also you can alter from equal temperament to pretty much ever other temperament used since the invention of the keyboard 🎹 (and I don’t mean the plug in type!) Just letting you know in case anyone on here is looking for an app tuner with options.I haven’t checked out this Fender tuner yet, but the ‘find a beat’ looks useful. My pebble watch had an app where you could press the side button in time with the beat which would automatically work out the bpm. Useful when you’re tired and allegro feels like presto. If this app does similar this will be very helpful so thanks for posting

You may want to have a look at this one. The Pro Tuner allows you to change the reference pitch anywhere between 415 and 460. It also allows you to add custom tunings.

It also allows you to tap tempo on the metronome (and the find a beat) as you are describing. (for anyone interested this is Metronome -> press number -> tap tempo, keep tapping until number is constant) (edited)

Age-related hearing loss. This app will not suffer from this.

Is this good for bass also?

Yes, just ignore the B & E when looking at the diagrams. Cheers op! (edited)
