Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros

  • This special system includes:
  • Super Mario Bros.
  • Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
  • Ball (Mario version)
  • A digital clock
  • USB Charging Cable Included (AC Plug not included)

Play classic Super Mario Bros in true retro style on the Nintendo Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros. This all-new edition celebrates 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros, paying tribute to Nintendo's revolutionary handheld consoles of the early 80s.

The Nintendo Game & Watch: Super Mario Bros includes Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels and Ball (Mario version). With the +Control Pad, you can crawl through Warp Pipes, jump on Goombas and save Princess Peach with greater precision over each movement. And of course, if you're more of a Luigi fan, you can switch between the two.

Just so you don't get too lost in the game, the digital clock in the background helps you keep an eye on the time, with 35 different animations. It's the most fun pocket watch around.

I love pointless retro consoles as much as the next man/woman but this is a real dust gatherer. It’s a surprisingly good quality screen and device but if you’re interested you’ve probably got the games on a million different devices. Honestly go and have a go on Mario and see if it’s something you wanna play again, if not I’d hold out for a version with a better game selection

    Just to clear some misconceptions:
    1. This won't be available for much longer, so if you want one without getting scalped by eBay, grab it now.
    2. It's more of a collector's item, so yes it's overpriced, but it's not a must have so you do the math.
    3. These are no longer manufactured so retailers are now selling their leftover stock. It might get cheaper if you are lucky in some clearance, but absolutely no guarantee, as it's selling like crazy at this price, so I don't expect the stock to last.
    4. I am tempted to buy 2 of them but I don't know if I should.

Last sale was £160 and the cheapest buy it now is £150 . Have two sealed and will save for 15 years then see where they are at . Cost me £30 6 months ago and it’s almost quadrupled already .[Image]

First edition Ancient Greek HP is also quite expensive. I bought a mint copy recently for cheap and I'm planning to keep it for a few years.

How much is a “fortune” ? Someone else posted something like this a month ago when at £39.99, so currently they’re down £60 - you have to keep them to mint condition, they might not even arrive mint

Solution, keep them in the existing packaging without even opening the box

I could see them going for up to £100 in the future, just judging by similar products, but it's all speculation. Of course talking about a new and sealed one. Used ones might cap out around the original price of £50 or so.

Discontinued this month - order - 1/2 (if you want to play with one) - and leave sealed and put in loft. Price will only go up.

It seems a lot of people are doing this, not hugely convinced but I suppose if you like speculating and enjoy gaming it’s fine. I do the same with a few things
