The Reno4 Pro 5g at sub £250 is insane for its build and spec.

Grabbed The £239 deal for the Reno 4 Pro from Amazon . Insane spec and only downside is the smaller battery . But with the 33-36 minute charge 0-100% does it matter.
    Good camera
    Great screen
    Storage and ram top notch
    Decent midrange chip
Android 11 update and according to a few sites it will get android 12 in 2022 .
O-led Screen is great for price point .
Phone didn’t get reviewed great due to its insane £699 price tag .
You review the phone now at sub £250 and it’s probably one of the best deals of 2021 (edited)

I know the 855 is pretty old now, but the Reno 5G is a great buy here imo. I've been using the 10x Zoom non-5G for a month or so now and it's quality all round, but would be even better with the 5G added.

"Oppo Reno 5G will not receive Android 11, but it will keep receive the security updates as planned."

Although they told me yesterday OPPO Reno4 Pro 5G would not receive android 11 either which is untrue as some users have already got it.

I see OPPO reduced price again today to match amazon, shaved off a couple of pounds.
Was going to order from amazon but forgot OPPO did refer a friend discount so ordered directly from OPPO

Thanks Mr switch ,went for the OPPO Reno4 PRO for a bit of ultra fast charging action.
TCB has tracked at £18.70 and used referral link so hopefully £205.30 final cost.
Only extra i bagged was the £5 for official case which i thought was reasonable.
Not expecting cashback though, if it pays out, it pays out,BONUS. (edited)

Interesting that you mention that, it's actually to replace an original X3 NFC! It's for my best friend for Christmas, her X3 is giving her software woes (typical MIUI I suppose) do you know if Oppo's color OS is more stable? Shame about the headphone jack

Battery life I find pretty reasonable, not the best but once it settled it's been dropping between 8-9% in an hour of screen use (AccuBattery reckons 8.6%). Only thing is that 5G seems to use up battery on other phones, so not sure if that'd the same here. Definitely on the bigger/heavier side, must be over 200g, feels comfortable though.

It was a bit hit and miss for me, but worked in the end. I initially clicked the referral link and then created my account. But nothing showed up in the basket as a discount. I had to re-click the referral link to take me back to the store and the item I had in the basket remained there. I then clicked refresh basket and the referral discount appeared. Hope this helps.
