And these worked with this offer as well in the last discount (see here for last offer)
m365promo.microsoft.com
If your code is approved on the page that should be enough but this is what i used when making 3 claims and all were approved
If you use the argos voucher to buy 2 and successfully claim the 3 months for each. (I did it 3 times with 3 purchases of this argos product)
12 + 3 months x 2 = £74.98 / 30 months = £2.49 a month after redemption or £3.12 withouth it. (edited)
There is a workaround (still worked as of approx 2 months ago) - see here - reddit.com/r/O…ce/
I managed to setup both yahoo and namecheap domains.
Some tips:
> Go via TCB to get 1% cashback
> Check your employer deals website, my one is offering 6% off Argos Gift Vouchers. These can be used for this purchase.
> Check your Halifax Rewards App. They're currently offering 5% cashback. This will stack with any other Argos offer, as long as you activate your Halifax offer and pay with that card.
> The Family subscription is for up to 6 people. Each person can use the subscription on up to 5 devices at the same time.
> For the 3 months free offer, a maximum of 10 claims per person are permitted.
> You will get two seperate licenses with this package. One for Office and one for McAfee, so you don't necessarily have to install both applications.
This link tells you a bit more about how to claim the extra 3 months:
Get 3 more months of Microsoft 365 (edited)
I claimed it successfuly 3 times with this product from argos. (edited)
A few months ago many of us bought an identical deal from Argos but our claims for +3 months were rejected by Microsoft because the invoice/receipt did not show a separate purchase of a 1 year MacAfee subscription - the MacAfee was bundled and only one price was shown.
Still a good deal - just consider the +3 months a bonus, if you get it.
Edit: I think the '3 months free' should be removed from the title - it's not guaranteed and mis-leading (edited)

I used 'Argos Ltd' as the retailer, 'Subscription Software' as the qualifying product, and then a screen cap of the email Argos sent me as a receipt after I collected them. As someone else mentioned, you will need the license code for your office365 subscription, which is on a small card in the box.
Put a claim in for 2 earlier, got 2 emails back saying 'Your claim has been received and is being processed. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.', then got 2 emails 18 minutes later saying approved with codes to add 3 months for each. (edited)
Would you trust MS reading all your documents and sharing them with other US security services?
The personal pack only provides a license for one person, whereas the Family pack allows six different accounts.
make sure that your daughter can’t get the apps for free through uni before buying anything - the last three places I’ve worked have all had Microsoft agreements
Your daughter can get O365 free of charge I believe. Check the link below.
microsoft.com/en-…ice
yes.
Could the distribution centre has ran out - itll only let me order 1 for delivery, but my local store seems to have plenty.
ONLY true if you buy another qualifying item as well. See the MS promo page for details.
And, NB, the other item must be from the same retailer and either on the same receipt or an earlier receipt.
They make the offer sound attractive and then make it as hard as possible to claim it, a bit like insurance claims.
I showed how i selected the product after my key was accepted by the promotional page. Argos + Subscription Software and all claims were approved within hours on weekdays. Weekends they don't seem to do anything.

By buying 2 and using the generic argos discount code + plus one emailed unique code to get £10 off (£5 x2) (edited)
I ordered 2x
went via TCB 0.85% (probs won't work as I used a code)
£5 off using code from OP
7% Using Curve Rewards
1% Chase debit spending
i wonder if all this will work out lol (edited)
Yeah, all members can add a personal domain and get emails through their 365 outlook. The only condition is that the domain is managed via godaddy,
Instructions:
support.microsoft.com/en-…27b
aside from the godaddy thing, this justifies the cost alone if you use this feature. (edited)
It should just upgrade your account to this and then allow you to add family members.
Gone from expirary of June 8, 2026 to September 8th 2026
indeed and I could but I would not be able to use the Storage which is why I subscribe for the 1TB (edited)
Exactly that, log into office.com with your work credentials and download what ever you like and it’s perfectly legal - whilst you still work for that company - as it’s a user licence not a device licence.
You claim it online from MS (using the link in the main post above). I received my 3 month extension code within 1 hour of claim.
I got the Chase & Curve cashback already,
TCB is still tracked, and it turns out I had my curve card linked to Airtime Rewards too (£1.5) So i'm jsut waiting on these two.
Just an update about this.
I have got this back from the following from stacking
Chase 0.75
Curve 2.25
Curve 5.25
Airtime Rewards 1.5
Still waiting on TCB for 0.63
so not bad in terms of savings, plus I used the £5 discount code. hope this helps (edited)
Hey that’s fine, carry on paying a subscription to write a letter and store your documents online.. the millennial generation seem to have been conditioned into thinking re-arranging the user interface, getting rid of adverts (lol?)... and handing over all your work to a third party is justification for emptying your bank every year.... the same sort of nonsense with all games these days, buying a game, then having to hand over your creditcard details to buy extra crap within the game, or a season pass... I’m not quite 82, but I know when big companies are fleecing their customers... p.s. I’m a software engineer, not exactly green to “modern stuff”.... personal choice and life experience.
Breaking news: different people have different use-cases
Used libre for a bit and impressed. But the full industry standard office sweet and very generous storage is a deal clincher for me. The storage would cost me more to buy separately
At least I will have something tangible to give to the mrs for Xmas day. Who said romance is dead… (edited)
You can extend the duration of a Microsoft 365 subscription for up to 5 years.

You can also extend the duration of a Microsoft 365 subscription for up to 5 years.
Here you go

Well you're not writing my eBay listing when I sell my key...
With office 365, each member gets 1Tb of OneDrive storage space and I think 60 mins of Skype to landline as well. Need to double check
microsoft.com/en-…ers
Looks like the 60 mins of not part of the subscription anymore (edited)
However, I have 2 children in full-time education and worth it for the regular offer price IMHO of full Microsoft suite compatibility and use, especially when you factor in the Onedrive storage. (edited)
Just add the license. You can stack up to 5 years of them. Refresh and few times once applied and you are good to go. It’s also prudent to ensure OneDrive is mirrored from your local store. It wouldn’t be the first time cloud storage has had issues so belt and braces and all that. (edited)
Was thinking Apple iCloud storage for 2 TB £7 per month maybe will be bought as I only need 2 - 3 TB max to store
But the biggest problem with apple storage it is sync storage to all PC if you have same account and there is no way to disable not to sync specific folders was so frustrating when i realise my self and you can not stop sync when in progress
How stupid is this in apple sync if i upload 30 Gb data then it will automatically will sync to all my devices YES there is option free up space after it is downloaded So imagine i upload 2 TB then it is download to other PC and then you have option called free up space where it will remove from this pc and keep only in storage Yes there is option to disable Icloud complete but then you lose contact sync etc
"and I accident in settings tick untick iCloud box and it start again sync OMG nearly want to delete iCloud from the system "
Anyway just my experience as was thinking to switch to apple eco system but looks like will need to keep some devices like phones as apple for very good security and PC windows as work devices as with apple politic will be poor + locked all the time What they think it is good for them they allow only I waisted so much my private time to apple MacBook's try to do what on windows 1 min takes to do
Why do you think I am paying for software? I am paying for the premium online features you don't get with office desktop. I pay for the 365 ecosystem, like outlook with no ads and 50GB storage using enterprise class outlook online, where I can link a personal domain for free.
support.microsoft.com/en-…27b
The office apps on 5 devices is a bonus.
microsoft.com/en-…c=2
And so you pay one time? the way this deal works out it's better value to have this with all the discounts than it is to upgrade Office at every release. Thinking a one time purchase = more affordable just means you have not done the maths. (edited)
You seem to have 0 undertsanding of what this product offers. Office is a small part of it.
I'd think a lot of people are just buying the cloud storage.
I still use Office 2007, which I feel no need to upgrade. I do need more cloud storage as Dropbox want too much money to continue, and I don't want to concentrate all my personal info in the same place with Google / Amazon, so for <£40 per year this is a good deal, with the bonus of a current version of Excel, plus the ability to offer access to 5 family members.
