I've got a hot tub and worked out it costs me about £60 a month if I leave it on.

Sister in law got one a few years back, has it on constantly for the kids. Worked it out she was paying about 6 quid a day just sitting doing nothing.

I used to have a Hottub in 2007 and the bills were hundreds a month alone for the thing.

We have a inflatable 'spa' been amazing for my son post chemotherapy/radiotherapy.

Through the winter we've filled it from the hot water feed at back of washer so it's ready for him to use quite quickly, only have it on for the weekend then use a water pump to empty in around 30 mins. Couldn't afford to leave it on for weeks/months 😬

If it’s something your willing to put away in between use and only get it out once a month or special occasions (if you can be bothered) it probably works out alright albeit the energy prices will affect your bills as most have mentioned.

We bought a lazy spa when it was on special offer. Use it for a week every few months. Electric is reasonable for a week and it's MUCH cheaper than the local rental company @ £150 for 5 days!

So many deals on these, they’ll be the first things to go when the energy prices go up.

I'd find it hard to feel sorry for anyone doing well enough to be able to afford to spend more on a hot tub than most people can afford on a car

Maybe he was retired and had saved up for it? Obviously it's all relative, but it's got to be a bit of a kick in the teeth to one year be told energy prices will go down, then the next it's almost doubled.

It looks like it wasn't supposed to be applied to clearance lines as it shows on other hot tubs and associated products.

Glad I ordered last night and I can use the saving toward the potentially ruinous running costs.

I have one also and would agree with this. We used 2 - 3 times a week and sometimes switched off and then back on the night before we needed it again. I would say it cost £40-£50 a month. That was when electricity was 15p/kWh from April it will be 30p so you could probably double the monthly cost depending how much you use it and the ambient temp at the time.

So is this any good? Putting aside the comments about rising leccy prices to use as and when not daily

Overally good for two people and max?

4 people are going to be VERY cosy in that thing.
