Let's not pretend like the grinding in Fifa is the same as any other game. The game is a cash cow that sees next to no development year on year due to the same idiots sinking £100's on each iteration to do nothing more than collect overpriced virtual cards.

Not spent a penny this year and got better teams that friend who have spent £100+, it's just luck and being good to get better rewards.
I don’t disagree with you but there are also people entirely capable of enjoying the game without spending a penny
Unfortunately I do not know of anyway around. Maybe change the email on the EA account? Its obviously to stop people just creating new prime accounts and getting unlimited free packs.
Well this is the 6th pack and there's a new pack each month, so if you carry the 1 multiply by 3 and find the square root, it looks like it's been going for 6 months.

It's a reskinned game that you have to start from scratch every year and has a heavy dependency on users spending money. Kudos to EA for creating a cash cow.
You don't need to pay for packs, as long as you do the objectives and sbc. Know tons of people who play fifa, that have never paid for microstransactions (edited)

No but a lot of people do. Its been shown most players spend £100 - 500 on their team. Some people spend a LOT more.
It's gambling and should be regulated and marketed as such.
Do you have a link to where it 'has been shown' most players spend that? Its most likely a minority that spend money on it, yet alone anywhere near that. Even then, from those that do spend large sums, the majority of those are going to be streamers, and not your run of the mill player.
I also don't understand the comparison to gambling, its no more gambling than trading cards are, or sticker books. Should those also be regulated and marketed as such?
Not sure why you are defending EA, one of the worst companies out there. Monetisaton has ruined so many games.

Yes. Once claimed the packs will sit in your account like normal packs until you open them. You can stack them for tots if you have the patience.
I only play seasons as can’t be arsed playing ultimate team but it seems most people have moved away as I keep winning division 1 and doesn’t seem to be as many playing it anymore. They’ll prob go free model with ultimate team only then that’s me done with fifa.
Crap every year. Only bought fifa 21 because I got it half price and I didn't buy 22.
