sorted byUPDATE: Found it. You have to go to the basket page, not the checkout to select the voucher.
If you add £20 of items then take to checkout you should see an option to redeem the £10 off. I believe you can also use in store with a QR code.
100% does not work with trade card. the rewards and benefits isnt even on the menu on left.

I was one of those people who thought halfrauds scamming customers was farfetched but it happened to me and will happen to you if you give them your money. Avoid.
Do not add your registration number as that might tie accounts together. Just leave the box blank.
Have you looked at the basket page rather than the checkout? I went straight to the checkout which doesn't show it, but if you go to the basket page you should see it there. (edited)
The phone number just has to fit the definition of a UK number.
To repeat. you DO NOT need to add a registration number to make a new account. Just skip the box. I have just tried again just in case things have changed. I did nothing with the Reg box, the email was a Halfords one, and the phone number will not be one issued.
All that would be required from that point is email verification.
VRN is NOT mandatory. Don't care what they say. I have tried Brave & Firefox browsers with no issue. There is no star next to the box.
Shame. Makes it easy to switch. As you can see by the basket and the time they are the same email login and switch button below changing from MC to trade.

I signed up for the free motoring club tier, then applied the £10 voucher to an item in my basket but didn't checkout. I then began applying for the premium tier and in the basket I removed the item from before. The discount dissapeared, however when I went through with the purchase of the premium tier, I noticed the £10 voucher was still applied and I was only charged £39! I also used Quidco so we'll see if that tracks. (edited)
Hi mate, how did you know they didn’t service the car please? Really interested to know as have paid for / booked one at my local (which has always seemed to be trustworthy in the past, but they do change management a lot!)
I got a confirmation email instantly, clicked that link in the email, and bought what I need through that. Try another email? Hope you get it soon, just keep checking

Ask your local store. If they friendly enough, like many are, they may not refuse you 🏻
Fyi, most in the motor trade absolutely discourage letting Halfords touch your car

Once you add what you'd like to the basket, you'll see a toggle button to use the £10 benefit. You just need to scroll down. Bought the wife 2 Bosch aero twin wiper blades for £14, bargain of the day for me. Wish I could give more heat
