sorted byIt has enough space for a large chicken.
Sorry for the late response, but I would recommend getting one of these to see how you get on.
I've got the full size kamado but have a family of five to feed.
I can honestly say it's the best bit of barbecue kit I've ever bought and the results are superb. 🏻
Everything's gone up unfortunately, but things must be bad if Aldi have to increase this by 50% over last year and it's pretty well across the board, the kettle trolley was £99.99 last year and £139.99 this year, a 40% increase also.
It's a case of sucking it up and paying the price now if you want it or waiting for a couple of months hoping for a price reduction, but losing a couple of months of use in summertime.
It's the way of the world at the moment and cost of materials unfortunately
Be interesting to see how much Lidl increase their version if they release it again in the next few weeks, was on sale for £99.99 last year (edited)
I have these from appliances direct and the small one still gives you a few extra inches cooking space over aldi and Lidl ones

They already have a few weeks ago
Just in case you’re not aware, you can disable the watermark in your photos on the MI phones. It’s in the camera settings under ‘watermark’.
Thanks I wasn't
Yes I decided to get one of these to see if I use it enough to justify buying a bigger Kamado.
As I have never done any hot smoking before I can't really justify spending £600+ on a full size one not knowing if I will even use it that often.
Thanks for your help
No need to spend more than £399 #aldikamado
What can you actually fit in quantity wise?
Damn you food pics make me hungry
Is that the boss grill brand? I've seen that one on AD and suspect it is their own brand as can't find it on sale anywhere else. How do you find the quality of it. The title states its one size but then the description mentions cooking space and its a lot less.
It is own brand yeah but I think it is made by kamado joe or same factory anyway and just a more budget range as very similar looking to others that I have read online are made by kamado joe. Makes sense also that AD sell these and kamado Joe's
The mini one is great quality in my opinion. The large one could do with a gasket on the top vent as there is a bit of movement and I find the screws on the legs seem to come loose which I will have to keep an eye on
Realy happy with them but I got them both cheap so not sure I would pay full price
Thanks. I have been looking at the Aldi one as well but its crazy that for just a few inches smaller cooking area, you get one for less than half the price so I've had my eye on a mini one but i think I'm going to regret going for the small size. You said you got yours for less than full price. How did you pay? I've seen the medium one for as low as 340 once
Probably with cash or card.
Depends what or how much you'd like to be smoking plus how much you can afford to spend.
What's you're budget?
Well I would be smoking for only 2 people and budget I would say £250 ish Max
How do I get there? Please tell.....
My local Morissons (Rotherham Parkgate) has large Kamados reduced to £300. Didn't see any small ones...... (edited)
