Urgh. I used to screen mirror when on holiday too. Sounds like Netflix & Prime have got stricter. How silly, as it won't stop pirates and pirates won't have such problems casting media.
Roku's will now, in theory, work with Hotel WiFi streams, if that's any use to you? They push the HTML WiFi login screen to the phone. (Didn't work with Premier Inn last time I tried though.)
Nope. Won't work with a switch. Well, it will as a USB hub, but the HDMI port won't work.
Remember, you can't charge the old steam deck with this one in at the same time
There's one with USB C power input

Good point, thanks. I have a similar one for my Switch which does have a USB C power input too, guess I need something similar to that.
Though on three other hand in unlikely to use it in desktop mode for long and won'tb ever be playing games like that, so maybe I don't need charging. I'll have a think.
Yep, full sized HDMI not mini
Been using the same model myself while waiting for the official Steam Deck dock.
Its pretty decent to use the Deck as a controller (screen turns off) while its powering an external monitor/tv.
Desktop mode it pretty decent too! (edited)
Are you are the Poco F3 can do HDMI out via the USB C port? I know X3 Pro can't.
Ah! That could be a problem. How does one check these things?
With difficulty! Googling basically.

Looks like it doesn't support it then. (edited)
Bummer! Sounds like I'm have to continue to lug my laptop with me when I go on holiday. I tried casting but Netflix & Prime won't let you cast from phone to TV. You get sound but no picture. V annoying!
My work laptop only supports 4k30hz on a 2nd screen for some reason. It's not g ré au but I prefer that over 2k60hz
Yes, very important for people to know, as scrolling at 30hz will drive you INSANE.
Yeah this is useless
And no Ethernet... I'll stick to UGREEN
How much?
