'Clubcard price' is vile.No discount without using a card? Then no sale.

Or just get a clubcard, which is free?

If it is a choice between paying a tenner for something or paying seven pound fifty with clubcard then this is a no brainer for most people on here who want to save as much as possible...but not you it seems.

I don’t think tesco will lose out if you didn’t buy it because hundreds will

Do these tend to also take 25% off reduced clothing items too?

Have just done in store in Bham and already reduced item has a further 25% taken off.

Looks like Tesco price label are updated with high price before such promotion. Eg) Plain Navy blue England logo FIFA t shirts are over labelled to £14, hidding the original £10 price. Shame Tesco

Generally speaking, the quality of Tesco clothing is better than Primark clothing. Also, the prices aren't necessarily cheaper at Primark these days either.

Plus, a lot of people shop at Tesco already, so it's more convenient for those to get clothing from there rather than having to make a separate trip to a Primark.

Definitely not same clothes. The quality of primark clothing is vastly inferior to Tesco or even George by asda for that matter. The fit is generally poor and white T shirts I’ve bought in the past from primark lasted one wash. Very poor quality.

So theres bo click & collect option? You have to go to the shop and look through everything hoping your size and choice are there? Is it the 80s ?

I'd say the quality of clothing at both Tesco and Primark is better than that sold in M&S. The seams fall apart with recently bought M&S clothing, and the fabric used at M&S gets thinner year by year.

I really hate it when people say Primark is cheaper than (insert a cheap clothing place).

I've only ever had a few savings at Primark over the previous decade, whereas Tesco underwear is the most comfortable and lasting I've ever, the basic t-shirts are also extremely comfortable and actually fit well, the hoodies keep there softness, there's only one problem with F&F for me and that's a pair of boots have been taken off the shelves, they where £25 and lasted me 6 months of very heavy wear, and that's saying something because I have worn footwear out within hours before and Primark footwear will last me a week or 2 at most with light wear and even those aren't cheap.

Also on the plus side, if you're eligible for a clubcard plus trial then you get a further 10% off do it with your weekly shop and take 10% off food as well.

+1 for F&F boxers and under t-shirts. Good quality, fit and durable.

If the use of a card bothers you that much, you'll be pleased to know you can actually get a discount without a Clubcard card. How ? You have several options – you can use the app, or the key fob, and you could even use the old skool way of printing out your barcode and scanning that at the till. (edited)
