BioShock 2 Remastered
Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture. Players step into the boots of the most iconic denizen of Rapture, the Big Daddy, as they travel through the decrepit and beautiful fallen city, chasing an unseen foe in search of answers and their own survival.
BioShock Infinite: Complete Edition

Half-life Alyx is the ultimate, but this is real VR and a very close second. It is much better than the Bioshock Half-life Alyx mod, if you have tried that one. It is better than many VR games. It beats Fall out 4 VR and Skyrim VR even with all the mods.
I bought Vorpx at Christmas after I bought the Valve bundle for £9.80 so treated myself to Vorpx as it was about £25 on offer. Portal and Portal 2 in VR are worth the £25 alone to have in VR. Then half life 1 and 2 and left 4 dead 1 and 2 VR. Now 45-55 hours of bioshock collection which is amazing in VR. Then all the game pass games that work with Vorpx. Mass Effect 1-3 are great with Vorpx, and wreckfest, snowrunner, battlefront 2, battlefield series and many more and lots of the free Epic games work ( amnesia, metro exodus, yooka laylee.
Sadly you can't try it and I spent ages deciding to get it or not. I am so glad that I did. Some games are weird. Many are like the old 3-d films so not true VR but still enjoyable to play in VR headsets on a giant cinematic screen. Bioshock games with Vorpx VR are a very close second to Half-life Alyx. If you love VR you will be hooked. I very rarely play games that aren't in VR now. Only on my Razer Kishi.
Here's a link from someone raving about Bioshock infinite. There is even a link to 3d YouTube video which give an idea of the 3d effect. VR is so much better. You are actually there. More and more games are compatible and future games work. If you have Cyberpunk 2077 he does a free version for that game for you to try out. I don't have that game yet.
As you can tell I love VR, like Vorpx, love Bioshock and really love Bioshock with Vorpx. I'm even putting resident evil 7 with the excellent just released praydog VR mod aside to play Bioshock in VR.
Be aware he does use a few expletives at the beginning as he is so amazed by the results.
I have an Oculus quest 2 and a 2070 rtx graphics card in my pc. You can use lower specced computers. Just Google pcvr gaming computer specs. Go to or the best you can afford as the games will only get better and it saves you upgrading the computer again. £349 for the quest 2 and £800 plus for the gaming rig. The quest 2 using airline ( included on the quest) means you don't need any wires attached and you can turn around. Vorpx is great to play 2d games you love in 3d or many work in VR and some are fantastic. Dying Light has VR in the software (get the platinum edition for around a fiver, but you need your VR legs, but it is fantastic. Alien Isolation with the free VR mod is amazing but trouser stainingly scary.
Half-life Alyx is amazing and loads of free games from the modding community. Dirt Rally 1 and 2, Assetto Corsa and competizione, Microsoft flight simulator has VR built in. No mans sky, subnautica, Rdr2 Vorpx or VR mod, and loads more. Google it. Some make you feel motion sick.
Games for the quest cost £15-30, PCVR games are regularly on offer for a few pounds or on epic free. So the head set is effectively free. Games in VR are a different League. You aim the rifle, look down the scope (closing the other eye) or pull the string of the bow back and let the arrow fly. You duck behind crates and peer around the side and tuck your head back out of sight. You can lie on the ground. Payday 2 works in VR and is fantastic. You open doors with your hands. You pick up and examine things. Reload your guns, You turn you head to look out of the car/plane window. The game is immersive. You are in the game. Bioshock is amazing in VR. It is amazing anyway, but I will never play it pancake again. 2d gaming is not worth the effort after you have played it in VR.
Heat!
Enjoy. So very good. I would recommend the Infinite DLC also. It all comes full circle.
See I don’t know if you can call them FPS (well not the first two). That was what ultimately made them so different to other games. Shooting was such a small part of the game in fact I remember completing the first one without firing a single shot and without dying. It was a very difficult challenge! (edited)
I have played titanfall 2 with it and it is great to play but not in the same league as bioshock. Apparently bioshock infinite is even better. Metro series games are great. Borderlands works well as do amnesia games, Blair witch and control battlefield V is pretty good as well. Lots of game pass games work. Vorpx seems to be getting better and better and marvel guardians of the galaxy is very good.
You have 2 weeks to ask for a refund on Steam in case the game becomes free on EGS. That is if you play less than 2 hours. (edited)
Definitely the first... It'll most likely dig its teeth in and then you get to enjoy the others... It's also the most "different".
You could go Infinite if you want more of a standard fps and total gorgeousness... but most fans would say if you do you've missed the point.
It's not supported on GeForce Now at the moment but they are regularly adding games so I imagine it will be in the end.
The free Bioshock collection from Epic is only for the PC. You have to buy the Xbox version of the game.

One of the greatest games ever, enjoy.
Easier to get running on my Steamdeck too
Entering the underwater city of Rapture for the first time was one of my favourite moments in gaming.
Where's the Carrell meme?
Win some and lose some. At least it wasn't full price or anything. Forget about it and enjoy the game 😄 (edited)
P. S. Would somebody kindly post the compulsory Steve Carell meme that's must be accompanied with these deals from epic? (edited)
