Seems nobody wants the white ones... £2 cheaper at Currys

    Replying to

That offer code isn't valid for this sale.

Bear in mind this is USB-C only with no adaptor in the box.

Yes most modern PCs have USB C but if you haven't you'll need an adaptor - and you won't get 60fps using an adaptor

Not complete nonsense. Plug this into a usb 3 port with an appropriate adapter and you'll be fine. But someone less knowledgeable may plug one of these cameras into a usb 2 port with an adapter and will likely have performance issues. (edited)

Just bought this for 67.99 at John Lewis

Great cam, originally bought the C920, but they are plagued by microphone auto focus noise. Logitech sent me one of these as a replacement, and its a much better camera all around.

Been using this for 2 years now. Very good camera. Inbuilt microphone is as basic as it gets but it's very much worth it for that price point.

I wouldn't agree. Having a built in mic is likely a small percentage of the cost and makes it much more flexible.

Amazon reviews seem pretty dire. Apparently the added features beyond what the basic webcams provide are reliant on dedicated software being run all the time, can anyone confirm? If so it's probably OK for a personal computer, but not for a company laptop!

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I've been stung by this before when I bought a webcam with most of the features being handled by software.

It's hard enough to get NHS IT to install software with clinical benefits, so I have no chance with this!

Got a AMD x5xx motherboard? Give this a miss.

How come? Works fine on mine.

Seems a lot for a pretty standard 1080p webcam? (edited)

Agreed, for this price I would like to see more features (ie. LED light, Windows Hello or 4k/30)
