    After seeing how bad they monitor franchise stores and how bad franchises look after the staff I think I'll skip. £7 is still overpriced for what the staff get given. (edited)

    Exactly, the franchise I used to work at recently removed free food or drink privileges for the staff and they were told they have to buy any food. They asked you to work from 10am to 8pm and rarely would have time to take a proper break as they'd be understaffed. The final straw for many drivers was they put delivery charge up to £2 and didn't increase the driver's money per delivery (even though fuel has doubled over the past 18 months). Essentially they were working for minimum wage and their devaluing their car by putting hundreds of miles on it every week. I don't think every franchise is like this but the experience I witnessed was not good.

    I worked out the cost of most of the deals in my store, they all work out the same apart from a varience from a few pennies. They 'deals' are just ploys to get you to buy, just like the DFS or euro car parts sale.

    I've not ordered from Domino's in quite a while. The £2 for delivery on top of the £25 they wanted for two large pizza's was the straw that broke the camels back for me.

    At £6.99, heck, even £8.99, I'd have bought and collected. But our local wants £12.99 for a large and that is only if I collect. They're having a laugh.

    Sadly all of the local independents aren't much cheaper around me, so we tend to do the Asda make your own. (edited)

    Far better pizza places in Belfast anyway which have prices close to this all the time. I’m sure you’re well aware but little Italy off great Victoria street

    Dominos is already spenny so I rarely get it but now both them & Papa Johns are charging delivery on top! I've worked at both and the pizzas cost pennies, the staff are paid in peanuts and the Papa Johns I worked at took half the wages of the foreignours who worked there

    through covid they got more business, got a vat cut ,charged for deliveries ,and ramped up the prices while cutting options like half n half ,most deals only include galic bread n wedges , unless its a good deal i advoid
