RHINO 20L DOMESTIC DEHUMIDIFIER FROM ITS
This dehumidifier is an ideal machine for keeping mildew and mould at bay, capable of extracting up to 20litres of water per day from the surrounding area

This portable dehumidifier can also reduce dust particles in the air as well as assist in drying internal areas after decorating.

In warm situations, especially in the UK, this is perfect for keeping your area feeling fresh while eliminating musty odours at the same time.

Supplied with a hose for continued use, the Rhino DH20L Dehumidifier includes a fan with dual power settings, as well as air swing with washable filter to ensure 230m3/h air movement.

Simply set your desired room humidity with the humidity sensor or use the one-touch smart mode to automatically maintain optimum levels, making this one of the most reliable and trusted dehumidifiers in the UK.

The dehumidifier features a light indicator to show the current level of humidity in your room. As the humidity level reduces, the light on the front of the unit changes colour from red to orange to green.

When considering the ever-changing climate within the UK, the dehumidifier is perfect for monitoring the humidity and adjusting the fan speed accordingly to help save on energy usage.

Whether you’re at home, in a caravan, working on site, or working in the office, this is the perfect device to maintain a fresh, dust-free, pleasant environment.

400W power consumption. The guy in the video is clueless: "has a water tank of 20l in the front etc".
Found somewhere else some specs, it has a 5l water tank. (edited)

Yeah I noticed that too. Just shared it so you can see more of the system as all pics are stock everywhere.

400W seems alot, maybe an error as most places also had H size incorrect too

just open some windows on a dry day. I did that and my house relative humidity went from 68% to 55% in an hour
    The_narrow_path's avatar
That's not gonna work if you dry indoors during winter time.

Testing this plugged into tapo tp-link energy monitoring plug and it's reading at 230w on high mode.

Just get a PIV. Cheaper in the long run.

    What's a PIV?

I got myself a Meaco for £242 and it runs at 230w, so roughly 8p per hour. Clothes dry in 5 hours or less

Coorect, plus little bit warmer thanks to it working

How much does this cost to run per hour ?
    The_narrow_path's avatar
    14 pence/h

Anyone clever enough to explain a laundry mode for something like this, how would you set it? I've been looking at the electriq cd20l but I assume with this being a bigger brand in this field and it having refrigerant that it's better?
    plantowin's avatar
I have another brand but essentially the laundry mode does the same thing on a lower fan setting. Presumably you would have the washing placed next to the dehumidifier.

There are current posts here for Costco and Lidl dehumidifiers that should be considered. Would be cautious that there are no reviews or Brand links for this Rhino?
    The_narrow_path's avatar
The Lidl one is gone for some reason.

I'm thinking of using this for laundry as well.

Does the forum think it's more efficient to run a tumble dryer than one of these for a 7kg load of washing for example vs running one of these in a 12' x 12' room with the door closed?
    newbie68's avatar
So many factors to consider it is impossible to answer. How efficient is your drier? Where would you have your wet clothes hanging and using the dehumidifier? Dehumidifier speeds up the process of line drying, but will never dry your clothes (time will do that) alone. I now have the following plan - when wet outside use indoor drying in a small room with dehumidifier on when the window can't be opened. Leave 24 hours and clothes dry or almost dry. Some need a quick finish in the dryer (20 mins at most). I tend to run my dehumidifier no more than 6-8 hours (mine is 220W) in this process. On good winter days my clothes still go outside

This one or the Lidls one that's coming on tomorrow?
    PeteGos86's avatar
No longer coming. I was debating the same thing and have since ordered this after learning the Lidl deal is no longer.

It's a heavy unit and seems well made. (edited)
