If you were starting over, would you take Dewalt or Milwaukee?

I’m invested in Milwaukee but always jealous when I see these deals for bare tools.

I’m a DeWalt fanboy. If I was starting over, I’d choose Makita, I think there are more ‘deals’ for them than DeWalt and I don’t think you can got wrong with any of the top brands.

I think Milwaukee generally comes out on top on the Project Farm reviews.

For those not invested in Dewalt (yet), any deals on battery + charger anywhere?

Solid enough but not the smoothest compared to the modern day drivers, good value tho

How does this compare to the DeWalt DCD996N? Twice the drill for twice the price??

That's a drill. This is an impact driver.

This one is for driving screws / tightening bolts with ease without you having to wrestle it resulting in minimal fatigue.

The other is a beast of a combi drill, capable of impact drilling in masonry all day long and also driving screws if you need. It's not an impact driver, so when used for driving screws, you'll tire faster. (edited)

I don’t think you’ll find a better impact driver on the market and at this price it’s a no brainier. (edited)

Cheep cheep , I already have one and am tempted .
Great drill. Handy you can turn down the torque as well to use on stuff you don't want to break

    mark9915's avatar
    4.0 or 5.0ah.

Great deal! Does this come with the 3 yr Dewalt warranty or do you have to register it with Dewalt separately? (edited)
    mark9915's avatar
1 year as standard and 3 years when registered
