Game-changing performance: The Dell 27 Gaming Monitor features In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology for incredible speed and amazing color performance from every angle.

Rapid responsiveness: A lightning-quick native 165Hz refresh rate allows fast-moving visuals to be seen with incredible clarity so you can react quicker.

Seamless speed: Enjoy smooth performance during high-speed action thanks to a blazing-fast true 1ms GtG response time that eliminates motion blur.

Undistorted gameplay: NVIDIA® G-SYNC® Technology and AMD FreeSync™ Premium Pro technology adds another layer of seamless, low latency HDR gaming by eliminating screen tearing and stuttering.

Captivating colors: With 98% DCI-P3 color coverage and 1.07 billion colors, every gaming experience features vibrant colors and incredible depth, all in stunning QHD (2560x1440) resolution.

Uncompromised clarity: The Dell 27 Gaming Monitor is VESA DisplayHDR™ 400-certifed, allowing you to see more detail and color than an SDR display, and ensuring remarkable clarity and high contrast for strikingly lifelike visuals.

A distinct, gaming-centric design favors a bolder look and gaming features that offer both functional and aesthetic benefits for gamers.

Uniquely Designed: Vents on the back of the monitor are engineered for enhanced heat dispersal.

Stand and deliver: Game in comfort for extended periods thanks to a new slim, tapered stand with easy height and tilt adjustability. The angled base provides sturdy support and a smaller footprint, allowing for more desktop space for additional gaming accessories.

Expansive views: Game with minimal distractions and a larger surface area thanks to a 3-sided ultrathin bezel.

Gaming-centric tools: Easily navigate and manage the on-screen display (OSD) menus with new joystick and shortcut buttons located on the back of the monitor.

Customize every advantage: Three user-defined profiles give even more personalization options. The Timer, FPS Counter and Dark Stabilizer let you manage everything from frame rates to brightness to shadow control.

Flicker free: Controlling the brightness using a direct current enables a flicker-free screen, giving you a more comfortable viewing experience. Additionally, the ComfortView feature reduces harmful blue light emissions, significantly reducing digital eye strain.

Looks pretty decent, these guys give the thumbs up

monitor experts here, I am feeling a bit lost and confused with so many deals.
Is this better than hotukdeals.com/dea…116 ?
This will be used for Programming, Video and Photo Editing and general office work and browsing. Already bought this and £18 cashback tracked.
Any other better monitors (future proofing) for under £370? Just upped my budget there lol
    stato257's avatar
This monitor is gaming focused being QHD at 165hz whereas the LG is 4k 60hz. Both are IPS will have their pros and cons. Text will be tiny at native 4k so I hope you'll be happy with your purchase! I'd go for this myself as it'll do general office work plus have the better gaming capability when required.

Purchased. Can confirm using dell advantage employee discount code takes it back to the original price so don't use it
    KeepForgettingPassword's avatar
I got my mate who works for Dell to send me a voucher before I read this and can indeed confirm that when you apply the voucher the price goes UP to about £319.
  5. KeepForgettingPassword's avatar
Well, the deal is there when using that link, however going to the dell site directly it the full price £379 (edited)

It should be under the black Friday deals section

Have this monitor, its brilliant, if you're on the fence don't be. I looked for weeks and settled for this, not disappointed one bit.

    Me too. I love it

Been using this monitor with Xbox series X for a year now and it's been flawless. There are no speakers inside, but I use a headset anyhow. Nice mood backlighting too if you want it.

    Same here. Great monitor.

Already own one of these from a deal this time last year, very tempted to upgrade my 1080p secondary. Particularly because this has a generous amount of inputs and can be easily swivelled on its side to use in portrait mode. I still think this is the best monitor in this price bracket when it's available at this price. Use mine for work, video editing, PC and Series X.

Edit: to heck with it! Ordered! Thank you OP. (shows as 75% of stock taken as of 1:21pm UK time btw)

Edit 2: wow, arrived less than 24 hours after ordering. Great to the same screen real-estate and extra inputs on my secondary. One day I'll get an ultra wide as my main, then use these two monitors on either side in portrait mode. Thanks again OP. (edited)

Purchased. Was going to wait until some other Black Friday monitor deals but I’m too inpatient. Thanks OP

Be really interesting to see if our Dell Advantage discount code stacks on this tomorrow!

    I have one & I recommend

The Lenovo Legion one seems to come with better colours out of the box, ie without calibration:

    rtings.com/mon….10

and is almost £40 cheaper with the ebay code:

    hotukdeals.com/dea…377 (edited)
    NomadJack's avatar
It seems they are basically the same when calibrated though? Is it easy/simple to calibrate a monitor?
  14. Kully_Singh's avatar
Great monitor - purchased on a similar deal last year so good value at this price point. Used for Series X and work, does spreadsheets as well as it does COD.

If anyone's toying with getting the £129 FHD Dell 27" also showing on HUKD, and wondering if they should get this one instead, if you can afford it, get this. I can't comment about gaming capability, but certainly for general computer use, this is streets ahead, if it's sitting on your desk and you're only a couple of feet away from it. I bought the FHD one earlier in the week, tried it, didn't enjoy the experience, and then bought this one - the difference is like night and day. The FHD one is great value, but I'm sending it back.

I just wish I'd listened to the dozens of other comments to this effect, before going ahead. Would have saved me a bit of hassle.

Ordered one yesterday and it came today,so far I'm impressed, replaced a MSI 1080p 144hz

There's a guy on ebay that want to sell voucher 75£ for 50. Good oportunity to buy it 25£ cheaper
  19. darkclouds's avatar
Is there a va variant of this monitor ?
  20. NomadJack's avatar
Whats the main differences between this one and the other monitor you posted for £179. Is it just the curve?

    hotukdeals.com/dea…059

Also is now a decent time to bite? Or can we expect a bit more of a discount ahead on Black Friday, on similar QHD screens? (edited)
  21. amb47uk's avatar
How can I find this via tcb link and not the hukd affiliate one? The tcb link doesn't take to deal site? And its full price there
    tightpants's avatar
it's dell technologies on TCB deals . Use the monitor deals link. On Dell page for monitors scroll down to monitor deals. You should then get BF deals. This deal is the second one. (edited)

Has anyone bought two? It only reduces it for one so wonder if anyone has made two different transactions or it stops that? (edited)

I've just bought 2 on separate orders, both orders have been confirmed

Do I wait until Black Friday or I bite... (edited)
    OfAlienOrigin's avatar
Last year it was only available at this price with an education or NHS discount card from what I recall. So this is a very decent price. Would be surprised if it was available for significantly less during Black Friday but you never know!
  27. Splurge1803's avatar
This will do as a second monitor, thanks!
  28. WeComeInPeace's avatar
Excellent monitor but be careful if you have limited desk space as it's quite bulky. I had to send mine back as once i'd mounted it on the monitor arm I had no desk space left.
  29. Bradijm's avatar
I have this monitor and love it, though I dropped it when moving so has a crack now, still usable, but may be worth getting a new one for this price
  30. stato257's avatar
Would this monitor pair well with a 3090ti? Recently had a faulty 3090 replaced 1month short of its warranty expiry. Currently use a 65" C2 but keen to pick up a smaller faster monitor as a secondary. It'll also be used with my steamdeck when docked. In no rush but want something by black friday.
    whatsgucci's avatar
Yes it supports G-sync. However it only supports up to 1440p. If you want to play in 4K you will need to get a 4K monitor. (edited)
  31. Matt_Mould's avatar
can anyone recommend a good soundbar or speakers to go with it? as this doesnt have any built in.
  32. sergiup's avatar
Bought this over the S2722DGM, for the relatively minor reasons that viewing angles do matter to me, and this one can be turned into portrait on its own stand. Also had £15 in rewards, so £244, minus whatever cashback eventually tracks.
    Thanks OP!
  33. MrToast's avatar
I'm currently playing MW2 on a 1080p monitor and get around 240 FPS, if I moved to a 1440p monitor like this how many FPS would I drop.

Is it worth moving from 1080p to 1440p for games like MW and warzone

    Current monitor is 144hz (edited)
  34. sr_387's avatar
iiyama red eagle same price but would wait till black friday. from what ive read the dell has more of an ips glow? than other monitors but i think its just a pot luck with the panel you get.
    jjames87's avatar
This is a much better monitor, but it does have more IPS glow than the LG using the same panel. LG 27GP850-B if you care about that.

Are you really comparing this to a TN panel?
  35. Superunknown95's avatar
    Ordered today, thanks OP!

Anyone have any links/tips on calibration? I will be using with my series X so i'll enable the freesync, anything else I should be aware of?

    Thanks!

Bought one of these as main monitor back in 2020, still fantastic, so decided to pick up another as my secondary screen!
