i checked my latest upgrade "offer" on the EE app and the cheapest was £15 for 1gb of data plus the usual free calls/texts. i wanted to really cut the price down so i looked at vodafone and i went on to chat to see if their £6 basic plan had all the bells and whistles on it.. i need wifi calling in my house as its always got poor signal no matter the network..

the guy offered me 21gb of data for £11 which isnt available online.. so after some thought i took it. i then requested my pac code from EE.. i then got a call an hour later from EE. their guy asked if i would let him try and do better. i said id already agreed to a new contract but go ahead. he said i had a 14 day cooling off period and offered me 6gb for £6 lol. i barely use any data so thats more than enough. so i took it. its a 12 month contract, i keep my number and i can upgrade any time.

so the morale of the story is, order your PAC code. its free and you dont have to use it. they should call you within a few hours and you can then get the best out of them they can offer.

theyre obviously sim only contracts. he did mention phone deals but i said i wanted to get the price down so we didnt go into those. possibly you could squeeze a good phone deal if you ask... (edited)

Thank you, my wife requested her pac code on Sunday and no one has called. I called myself this evening and the offer was terrible so will be leaving

Anyone had any good unlimited data offers with one swappable benefit? My current one has bounced up to £25, asked for PAC code given straight away and zero phone calls back. Literally could not be bothered and just quoting me deals from their website which was a downgrade and not an upgrade.

I've been with them as long as I can remember so that helps. And as other members said, ask for the PAC and wait a couple of days. They have a team called 'refuse to lose' whose sole job (as the name implies) is not to let you go.

I've had some impossible deals with them in the past and it's always worth being upto date with their competitors' offerings, makes it easier for them to match or beat deals.

£5 for 3 GB and unlimited calls/texts. Similar to other offers out there.
