🔥 but be warned, I bought quite a lot of pre-orders from Google Store on the pre-sale and racked up over a grand of Store Credit that they appear to have blocked me from using. In fact they've blocked that account from making any purchase at all and I've since read in the terms that they can reject orders if they suspect resellers / fraudulent activity and elsewhere that Store Credit is limited to £125 per purchase and £200 in total yet they've never applied that but in effect they have retrospectively. I managed to get two 6a orders away using my Store Credit but the trade-in value of £138 went back onto the Store Credit I can no longer use so effectively the 6a was a straight swap for a Grade C iPhone 6S. Having not yet realised they would do this, I also RMA'd one of the 6a freebies as I got better trade-in value for a Pixel 3 at Currys that I had selected as the trade-in device on Google Store already hence the RMA. In hindsight I did not 😬.

£539.10 - £53.91 Store Credit (2TB One Plan) - £100 Store Credit - £205 for an iPhone 7 + cost of iPhone 7 from eBay say £57.95 - £23.81 TCB Plus (exact amount I got paid on £539.10 P7 on pre-order) = £214.33 effective for a Pixel 7....

P7 Pro £764.10 - £76.41 Store Credit (2TB One Plan) - £150 Store Credit - £205 for an iPhone 7 + cost of iPhone 7 from eBay say £57.95 - £38.20 TCB Plus (exact amount I got paid on £764.10 P7 Pro on pre-order) = £352.44 effective for a Pixel 7 Pro.

I literally got paid to upgrade my 6 pro to a 7 pro since I had 2 watches from the pre order + 150 in Google credit

760 for each 7 pro with the student discount

Sold the first 7 pro for a 90 loss so 850 for the other one

Sold the 2 watches for £500 total near launch so £350

Bought a Fitbit charge 5 using my Google credit and sold that for £90 so £260

Then sold my 6 pro for about £350 on eBay so walked away with £90-110 profit and a upgrade , not bad (edited)

Looking at the trade in t+C's it looks like you have to send them your trade in within 14 days of receiving the new phone ... That's cutting it fine for a surprise Christmas present!

Are they generally pretty good with sticking to the estimates on screen damaged phones?

Pretty good, kinda regret not trading my 5 in during the pre order deals, Currys were giving over £300 for it.

Fongers crossed the price plummets, although doubtful since they have to recoup some of that world cup marketing budget.
