    Yeah this isn't cheap, i paid about £490 upfront on release day for my Pro, with a 2 year £15 a month 100gb contract and a new £379rrp Google Watch too.

    Plus the £15 pm isn't a discounted rate so the annual apr increases will be pence.

    What you paid many months ago on a contract is surely a little irrelevant? This a pretty decent price for a new pro compared to what else is on the market right now.

    For day to day none gaming usage the 7 Pro is an amazing phone. You'll probably get a 2 year warranty with this phone as well. All Google repairs are done in Poland anyway so not much advantage to get in UK and if it's Amazon direct actually easier to deal with then Google! I love mine but my front speaker went faulty. I was a bit worried about the repair but they seem to have done a perfect job. I think it will be £650 in the UK soon too but probably an unofficial price hold on the 7 series as just launched the 7a. One other big factor is the weight and ergonomics of the 7 Pro are superb. It feels much better balanced then Samsung ultras or the iPhone Max range.
