Details

Take vision and sound to the next level with Cognitive Processor XR™. Our revolutionary processor on Sony BRAVIA XR™ TVs reproduces content the way humans see and hear for an incredibly lifelike experience. It understands how the human eye focuses, cross analysing images to give real life depth, extraordinary contrast and beautifully vivid colours.

Pairing our OLED panel with XR OLED Contrast Pro, this TV boosts colour and contrast in bright areas so you can enjoy unprecedented pure blacks and peak brightness. Combined with Cognitive Processor XR™, it enhances pictures in the same way as your eyes focus so you won't miss a single detail in dazzling light or deep shadow.

XR OLED Contrast Pro boosts colour and contrast in bright areas for exceptionally realistic pictures defined by absolute pure blacks and peak brightness. With a temperature sensor and high luminance panel, this OLED TV utilises our Cognitive Processor XR™ to detect screen temperature and precisely control light so pixels in bright areas are illuminated simultaneously.

XR Triluminos Pro enables A75K to access over a billion colours and reproduce each one with the subtle differences seen in the real world. Together with our wide colour gamut panel and human-centric processor, it can detect colour from saturation, hue and brightness to deliver natural shades in every detail.

With XR 4K Upscaling, you'll enjoy entertainment close to 4K quality, whatever the content or source. Our Cognitive Processor XR™ accesses a vast amount of data, intelligently recreating lost textures and detail for real world pictures.

XR OLED Motion combats blur by detecting and cross analysing key visual elements on successive frames. It creates and inserts extra frames between the original ones so you can enjoy smooth and clear action, even in fast-moving sequences.

Acoustic Surface Audio™ uses special actuators to turn the screen into a multi-channel speaker. You'll hear sound that precisely matches what’s on screen with pictures and sound in total harmony for a truly immersive experience.

Browse 700,000+ movies and TV episodes from across your streaming services, all in one place and organised into topics and genres based on what interests you.

Watch your favourite movies and shows without hunting down the remote. Now you can just use your voice to control your Sony TV through a Google Assistant-enabled device. Just say “Ok Google” to get started.

7 year warranty only appealing if you believe TPS will last that long.

Not sure why they wouldn’t last so suddenly since they were here since 1996 and their reviews are mainly positive. Your comment can apply to any company regardless.

The "shop tour" on their website doesn't fill me with confidence.

In all fairness I bought my Panasonic tv from TPS and their service was exceptional. Every issue was dealt with swiftly and rectified without compromise. Decent little outfit and I believe they have been around for some time

All LG offers have died away. CS model is now £1499 or out of stock. March till prices drop back? Below 1k on 2022 model.

    Should start dropping in spring

LG CS/C2 etc. probably 899 or so in March/April

Anyone not in rush, note that Sony is rumoured to be using updated XR (Mediatek https://www.mediatek.com/products/digital-tv/mediatek-pentonic-1000) processor from this year with broader formats support, all 4 HDMI port supporting 120Hz, VRR and fast UI experience..
    James_Harking's avatar
    They'll support HDR10+ also.

Is there such thing as a bad bravia? I've got a choice of a gift from work which is a 55" or 65" Sony Bravia. No model numbers are available, so do I just take it - or show complete nerdiness by asking which model it is

I actully have a 5 year old android 55 Bravia and it’s absolutely awful! It’s so slow. And crashes etc. the panel and sound etc are actually fine.
That’s why it pains me to replace it. Because it does work and I’m more than happy with it. It’s just woefully slow

    I’m voting hot

7 year warranty and 0% finance. Just a shame website is from 1999. Nothing happens when I click on apply button (edited)

    Thanks man.

No real reviews that I can find. No panel brightness measurements to check if it's a bit duller than the A80K.

    A80J still the better buy.

    S95B is the better buy

Is this using LG EX panel like A80/90K?
  13. nicp01's avatar
Yes ask, you need to know the distance between the feet for your cabinet or placement on the wall.
