While spinning in circles looking for a decent deal on an XR55A80J, I spotted what seems to be a decent price for a 55" G2 from a reputable seller.
Price is £1399 - 10% via code OLED10 = £1259.10 with free delivery to the majority of the mainland UK (see image #2 for proof).
If you're looking at the deal, chances are you know all about the G2 by now so you don't need a wall of text selling it to you...

As TVs behind bigger, they get much more expensive. Becoming more common are short throw projectors, called laser TVs. But they only really win out on cost against any TV over 77". At 65" normal TVs offer better value.
If money is no issue, the soon to be realised G3 range is even brighter than the G2 due to a new panel. The latest Samsung QDOLED TVs are meant to have improvements too, both the Samsung and G3 are meant to run at bright as 2000nits, and the Samsung can run at 144hz instead of 120hz that the LG OLED panels run at.
Drawback of sanding QDOLED is small detail text can look blurred due to their pixel layout, not something to notice on games or movies, so only an issue if used for office work too (edited)
Mounting
Here in the UK, the only retailer to explicitly cover screen burn is John Lewis with it's protect plus extended warranty, which lasts for 5 years. Costs about £120 extra.
Warranties from richer sounds, Currys, PRC direct etc generally exclude screenburn.
It's worth noting screenburn isn't as much as a problem as it used to be due to changes in manufacturing (bigger red pixels) and software (logo dimming, pixel shifting) to mitigate the issue.
Of note the G1 and G2 do come with a 5 year panel warranty by default.

The one thing to watch for is this exclusion. As people have on older models claimed for burn in damage from normal use and it's been rejected, although watching the news and YouTube is imo absolutely normal. So burn in shouldn't be out excluded, but I get using it 8 hours a day in a shop window with static images probably won't be covered.
