One thing to note, the 48 inch does not have the EVO panel which boosts brightness and reduces burn-in. LG’s marketing still say EVO on the 48 and below due to having the EVO software, but without the hardware too it’s pointless. EVO hardware starts on 55 and above. (edited)

Oh really! Didn't know that, though compared to the Hisense 48A85HTUK I had before this LG, the C3 is definitely brighter. Even bright enough for the bright kitchen/dining area where I havt it mounted on a wall.

I was worried because everyone kept saying OLEDs are not good for bright areas but that definitely has not been my experience. And if the bigger sizes are even brighter then that's really good!

Managed to get the LG C2 48” in John Lewis today, customer returned stock for £607, brand new essentially. And they give 5 year warranty too!

Pretty good, you clould probably get about £100 for the soundbar, so £655 for the TV. (edited)

Price drop is likely because LG have started taking pre-orders for the C4 series in the USA.
