    Seen the Amazon fresh shop but not been inside. How do you pay for things? Not clear how this voucher would work.

    After applying the voucher to your Amazon account, visit a store, gain entry by scanning the live barcode found on your Amazon Shopping app (ask the store member for help, it's not obvious where to find it), take the items you want, bag 'em up, walk out.

    A sophisticated camera system determines what you've taken (and put back). Usually a few minutes after you exit is when you get your itemised receipt via the app. Offers will automatically apply to your receipt. I've not had a bad experience in my three or so visits.

    If you have kids / guests, you'll have to scan your barcode once for each to let them all in (otherwise it can't track where to send the bill if they take anything). If a kid / guest enters with you without you scanning for them, it can delay the receipts for all shoppers - the system has to do a full security check, which takes some time. (edited)

    Thanks - bought 3 fresh cookies. They didn't really have many products I was interested in.

    Doesn’t look like there is, had a stream of promos when they opened. All of them were essentially no min spend and credit would carry over if you underspent, T&Cs say same here.

    Excellent. Thanks. I sometimes use the one on Southwark Street. I'll take a look tomorrow. Their lunches are pretty good. Well, they do a meal deal like many but I guess the main/sandwich is the bit that's surprisingly good.

    The system is also very, very cool.

    I miss their £5 meal deals. There was a glitch last year so you only pay about 50p for 3 meals for 2 using the in store £5 and 10% off code.
