Ordered, thanks. Not owned one previously and am wondering if it’s worth getting a protector/case or will that ruin the look / feel / usability too much?

You’ll probably be fine without one. I had a case that covered the screen and it affected the usability and feel a little bit, and I’ve also used a bumper style case.

I would say it depends on what you do for work. If your in the trades or do something a bit hazardous where there’s a risk it will get knocked or scratched, then get one.

If you work in an office you will be absolutely fine.

I’ve had my S4 for about 3 or 4 years, wear it daily and for the most part I haven’t used a case or bumper, it has a couple of battle scars and that’s it. (edited)

    Good deal.
I'm still sporting a Series 4, and I'm trying hard to justify an upgrade - but there just isn't a feature on the new models that has convinced me yet. (edited)

Maybe ECG or more health information

Good deal. Although S8 is essentially the S7 with an egg timer

Family planning, put some superglue over the temp sensor (edited)

Looks like they've dropped price on the 41mm to £369 which is cheapest I've seen that too. Thanks for sharing!

Good spot. Thanks. Same price John Lewis had them at in December. Haven’t been this price since then as far as I can tell.

Thank you for posting! I note that 0% interest from barclays is available with this. Is there anyone who'd advise doing against 0% finance deals (its not that I wouldnt be able to afford it outright, just see no downside to not doing it that way)
    Dadbod's avatar
0% finance deals make a lot of sense at the moment given the rates on savings. I guess the thing to consider is can you ensure you make the payments on time. If you can, then I can’t see much downside personally either. You just need to make sure you don’t over stretch as that’s how they begin to charge you crazy interest.

Is 45mm a bigger screen or just strap width?

Anyone know if Argos will price match? Has RRP lowered or just an Amazon sale? (edited)

I think they’re price matching Very who have it at the same prices.

Wish Curry’s did the £100 trade in again

That’s how I got my series 5, I traded in my series 1 and got £125 at the time which was great at the watch itself was selling for under £100

Same price in Argos as well, I was looking at 41mm and trading in some nectar points but think I will hold out and see what version 9 brings
