About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Similar to a recent deal but there's now an enhanced £200 cashback with Carphone Warehouse on any old device. With trade in and cashback it could potentially lower the total cost to £449 (not including the April 2024 price rise).
Steps:-
1) Login to your TCB or Quidco account and find Carphone Warehouse. You should be able to see a deal for £150 cashback on Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro contracts.
2) Click through to Carphone Warehouse.
3) Select the phone and deal you want (there are 128GB and 256GB options and various data deals).
4) When going through the ordering process make sure you add the trade-in option for your old phone. You'll know it has worked as when you get to checkout you'll be able to see it summarised in the total section.
5) When your order has been confirmed you'll receive various emails. One is 'Trade-in confirmation'. In there, there'll be a link to a form you can submit for the extra £200. It's very simple, you need to put your order number in and trade-in reference which is included on the email, your name etc.
6) They'll send you a jiffy bag to return your trade-in phone. Post it off once you get that.
7) You'll receive the standard trade-in amount and the bonus £200 in two separate transactions.

At least I’ve had things track before and then be denied later because I used a code for free delivery or something similar.
Given cash back usually say can’t be used with any other offer, deal or code and the trade in terms say right at the end, “offer not available in conjunction with any other offer” I’d be surprised if you got both or maybe even either.
The problem is you may not find out you’re not getting the extra cash back or backs until after your return window is over.
Tim2022I bought the S22 ultra from carphone warehouse a year ago and got my £200 trade in + £100 cashback. I'm not sure if I've ever seen people have issues, my dad did the same recently and it worked

nigelwillI think the TCB is for any 7 or 7 Pro model, it does end in 15 hours (just checked website).
Cashback will probably take a few weeks to arrive in your account.

My thinking is as follows
Trade in crapy phone that was lying around (effective value £0 - trade in for £200): +£200
Upfront cost: -£79
TopCashBack: +£150
Net cash position: +£271
Monthly cost: £27.99 x 24 months = -£671.76
Total cost (including phone contract for two years): -£400.76
Pixel 7 Pro trade in value: £377 (from looking at comparison right now)
So if it came to it, I could trade it in right away and get 2 years of 25GB data for about £25, or effectively just over £1 per month, and keep my current phone. What am I missing?

m0zI received my phone yesterday after ordering on Sunday, but my TCB has still not tracked. TCB reviews for Carphone Warehouse show this is not an isolated problem, although I will wait the full 7 days before I contact them to see what's going on if it still doesn't track. I just want to point out that you will only get the cashback if you are lucky so don't buy this thinking that £150 is guaranteed.
Btw, I got offered £40 for trading in a P2 Pro.
