    For anyone interested I am an everyday user of this phone. Once you update it and add a custom launcher this phone runs really well in terms of speed. It also has additional virtual 2.0GB RAM when updated. I have mine setup as close to stock Android as possible after editing and use no MIUI features except in the phone settings. The screen is as good as it gets without AMOLED. Also headphone jack & expandable storage are becoming a thing of the past so if you like these features another reason to purchase. I have had zero problems with this device and would recommend even at this price point because it seems to be the best available in this price range.

    I also have almost identical happy experience with the phone except to say to say that I prefer the display on predecessor Redmi Note 9t 5G which I also possess.

    Good 5G phone, but if I remember the price was £99 + £10 topup for longtime with voda nearly a year before. and dropped to less than £60 on a glitch. why still at this price?

    I got this phone last year on a glitch for £50 directly from Xiaomi. A year on the screen goes black randomly and sometimes when my phone rings it doesn't show a calls coming through so I'm unable to answer it . got a Samsung s23 contract phone on the way now

    Sounds like a proximity sensor issue. Make sure the top of the screen where it's located is clean. Could be a software issue tho as I've had similar problems with other xiaomis

    Nice spot for the present. Good phone, workhorse, no doubt but if one is not in particular hurry, would it not be best to wait for Redmi 12, £40 or so more expensive I guess but latest release with hopefully many updates. 🔥

    Not sure what you mean? It's just £10 for the SIM card on Pay As You Go, no contract. Just chuck it or give it away, you will also get one month's Vodafone VeryMe rewards with it I think. The phone is unlocked will take any sim and still be cheaper than anywhere else.
