Buying this TWICE from cdkeys and immediately upgrading to Expansion Pack Individual Membership would save ~£4.50 over the £34.99 regular price.

Doing this instead with Family Membership (£21.18) TWICE and immediately upgrading to Expansion Pack Family Membership would save ~£16 over the £59.99 regular price.

    For any Switch newbies, this part is absolutely untrue:

    Replace "most" with "very few". Those games that do need it, will usually state clearly.

    All paid games which have online features do require NSO to use those features. It's only free games which do not need NSO. But I get your point that it's only games which actually have online features

    Not N64, but NES, SNES and Game Boy.

    For N64, Mega Drive and GBA you need the expansion pack (edited)

    I have a quick question, as mine has just expired is there much benefit in paying for the 12 months NSO and then upgrading to the expansion? or do you not really save much? am i better of just paying outright for the expansion sub.

    You will need to work it out. I believe when upgrading from Individual NSO you get 4p per day towards upgrading, so 4p × 365 days = £14.60, so take that off the full price to see how much you would need to pay Nintendo, then add that to however much you would've paid cdkeys to see how much that saves

    That is a great deal as if you want Family Expansion Pack it makes it even more cheaper than the usual saving of ~£12. So a £2 extra saving on each Family Membership would make it a ~£16 saving (buy 2× Family Membership then upgrade to Expansion Pack Family Membership)

    Worth checking eBay you can get a slot of a family pass with expansion for £12/15. I did this but instantly wish I just brought the family pack and sold it my self on eBay

    I'm hoping/wanting to get the family membership and expansion pack but not sure of the best/cheapest method to do this. I would want to keep the family pack membership for myself and my family so not into getting a single membership from ebay. From Nintendo that seems to come in at £60, buying the Family pack from CD Keys then Expansion pack with Nintendo ( with a 365 x 0.08 per day discount = £29.20 ) comes in at just under £54, which is still a bit crap

    Might just get the family online pack now then decide if the expansion pack is worth it ( I only really want it for the extyra Mario Kart courses tbh )

    You can double the saving if you buy 2× Family Memberships and immediately upgrade. So you save around £12.

    Sadly this 10% off deal ended at 2pm. Buying a Family Membership (+ add on item) 2 times would've made it an overall £16 saving.

    But the usual £12 saving is still really good
