Super selfies? Check. A three day battery life? You bet. 5G Connectivity? Obviously. The Pixel 7 has it all. Keeping up with your favourite shows is a dream on the 6.3" OLED display, with features like Real Tone and Cinematic Blur always making sure to capture your best angles. Don't worry about security either - the Titan M2 security chip and built-in VPN help protect your personal data.

5G capability
Say bye-bye to buffering. The super-fast 5G-ready connection zips through downloads at record pace. Stream, browse, and watch whatever you want, wherever you want. Waiting forever for your Instagram feed to load up will be a distant memory.

Immersive screen, with super vivid colour
It’s more of the same dazzling display that wow’d us on the Pixel 6. Just a bit bigger. The 6.3-inch OLED display comes HDR-enabled and has a 90Hz variable refresh rate. Put in plain English (don’t worry, we had to look up half of that too), those fancy numbers and letters mean you get smooth scrolling and superb colour on a clear, bright, movie-style screen.

Dust, drop and splash resistant
The Pixel 7 safeguards you from any little oops, with IP68 water and dust resistance. The screen also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, making it tougher and less prone to scratches.

Your safety is Pixel's priority.
Your Pixel looks out for you with the Personal Safety app. In an emergency, Pixel can automatically call for help, share your location or record a video.

Simply touch to unlock
With face unlock and the on-screen fingerprint sensor, you can instantly log in to your apps and websites without compromising on security.

Make photobombers disappear
Magic Eraser is a real game-changer. With a few taps, you can remove strangers and unwanted objects from pics. Or change the colour and brightness of an object, so that it blends right in. It’s never been easier to forget about your ex.

The camera that makes you feel seen
Real Tone represents more skin tones beautifully, authentically and accurately in photos, videos and Meet video calls.

And… action!
Bring more drama to videos. Cinematic Blurkeeps your subject in focus and blurs the background for a dramatic effect. Hello, Hollywood.

It's everything that a battery should be
Pixel's Adaptive Battery can last over 24 hours. Turn on Extreme Battery Saver, and the battery can last up to 72 hours. And your Pixel charges super fast.

The site says I can get £90 for my huawei p30 pro, so does that mean I get £215 off the £500 pixel 7 price, effectively paying £285?

That's correct. plus the free Pixel Buds Pro. Don't forget those.

One thing to note is you still need to pay £499 upfront. You'll then get the £90+£125 boost after you send your current phone off. But you'll need to receive your Pixel first to get the IMEI to claim the trade in offer.

This isn't a bad thing though. It means you can swap your data to the Pixel before wiping your P30 Pro and shipping it off. (edited)

With the additional £126 trade in have been offered £255 for Pixel 6, so cheaper than the Google store deal plus free buds (probably going on eBay for £100).
Pity I don't need one as the upgrade is a smaller screen

Same situation here, not worth upgrading from to 6 to 7. Even the camera array and output is the same (tested).

So even if my phone is worth £1 (faulty, cracked screen) I can still get £125 on top?

I think it's 'up to' £125 depending on your handset.

Also works on the Pixel Pro, which is what I want. Apparently my OPPO X2 Neo is worth £50 trade in, so £175 off overall. And, as another poster said, I would sell the buds. Very tempting.

How does trade in work? Can't see the option in the app

Nvm. So if I understood this correctly, the best value for money would be to first buy the phone from John Lewis, then go here jlp.square1tradein.co.uk/ and use the IMEI from your newly purchased pixel 7 to claim more money for your old device. (edited)

Could always buy something like an iphone 6 on marketplace for £20-£30 to get the £125 trade in bonus

Better buy from carphonewarehouse via Topcashback with Unlimited Data Sim(ID Mobile £49 upfront & 23.99 monthly)

    £15 x 24 months => unlimited data sim cost for 24 months
    £120 => Topcashback

    23.99*24+49-(15*24) - 120 = £95.76 (effective cost of phone/device & Pixel Buds Pro) (edited)

The problem with this , is the limited phones that are accepted for the trade in

Definitely Currys as they take any phone
    accvio's avatar
    accvio
I've just had a look at Currys and they seem to take a very limited range of phones - I wanted to trade either an OPPO Find X2 Neo or an Honor 9, and they take neither. The trade in supplier used by John Lewis will take the OPPO but not the Honor, although they do take the Honor 8. All very confusing.

Anyone doing this offer and their pixel IMEI isn't recognised when trying to trade in?

Yes. I emailed them at support@square1tradein.co.uk with all the details and attached my order email and they sorted it within an hour. When I logged in after it went through.
