Extra Mature British Cheddar 750g - £1.25 instore @ Asda, Birmingham

Asda pricing is completely inconsistent across all of their stores & website.

Its unlikely i find any of the deals posted on this site in my local stores.

For a second there I thought I was on the hub.

If it was nationwide asda would be promoting it just about everywhere

Even £2.25 would be amazing price. Says £5.50 online so might be store specific. I might get chance to check at mine tomorrow morning.

This is the cheese they price locked last year (until the end of the year) at £3.50.

Then it simply disappeared (that's what Asda do when they don't want to honour their price locks.)

Then it reappaeared in January, price locked at £5 (it's gone up to £5.25 then £5.50 since then.)

Bargain that!
