Mega deal on a solid reliable trail fork imo. This fork can be altered between 100 and 160mm just by changing the spacer in the air spring.

How much would your average bike shop charge to fit these for you , do you reckon ? Cheers

You could do it yourself. It's a lot easier than you think. Look on YouTube and it will show you.

A bike shop should charge £50ish I guess. Maybe more if they have a shop in an expensive location to pay for.

Ordered 2 X to replace the rubbish that came with mine and the Mrs cube reaction hybrid pro emtbs, should be a straight swap with the boost axle and tapered steerer, will just need the steerer chopping down heat added

If you haven't cut a steerer before I usually use a pipe cutter, it's so easy. I use a very old Record 202 I got from eBay for £15 and it's so easy.

Mine arrived earlier this week. Looks ok. One bonus was it came with the Maxle Lite QR axle instead of the standard bolt axle!

Great deal to swap out those god awful sr suntour xcm xcr forks that seem to come on most budget mtb’s.
These will be the best £150 you could spend on your bike

Any of you guys recieved their new fork? And have you looked into if they can be increased, travel wise??
    brocky1223's avatar
    brocky1223
Got it, it can be increased, but you have to disassemble the fork and adjust the spacers on it

Unreal deal this, sure they can fit 2.8 tyres in as well but don't hold me to that, if it was a 27.5 I'd be all over that

I have the 29er version which came on a 27.5 plus bike that had 2.8 tyres. It says 29/27.5plus on the fork. I think my offset is 44mm though.

I was in a right tangle over this yesterday. I initially bought a 2019 bizango (orange). I had a frame warranty repair but by that time they'd moved to 2022 bizango (black) they gave me that but the frame only, all my components had to be moved over off old bike. So my old suntour forks non boost with a straight steerer they stuck a conversion on it to fit the new crown raced frame. Since then I bought a non boost nukeproof front hub that has a sealed bearing which is night and day over the cup and cone bearing hub that came with the bike. The short of it, to have this fork I'm going to have to do some messing about, because I'd need a new headset, a boost conversion kit for my current hub. I'd be all for turning this fork into 140mm of travel too, which would be more messing tearing down the fork and fitting a new spacer. When I looked on Reddit the advice seems to be it won't be an enormous change and your best replacing on wear out of parts or when part breaks. So in the end I haven't purchased haha. Thought my thinking might help someone (edited)

If you need to start replacing lots of parts it's definitely not economically viable. Cheaper (and more fun!) To buy another bike.

I like Voodoos. If you have the Raidon fork it is decent enough if it's working.

Can anyone confirm this is definitely tapered

How on earth do you identify the type of fork you currently have so you know the upgrade is compatible? It seems to be a minefield

    Look at these:
    Tapered or straight?
    Travel
    Boost axle 15x110mm width
    Disc brake

Fitting a new fork is not as easy as it sounds, you need to decide the steerer length, keep it same or do you want to fit more spacers to make the front end higher or even reduce the amount of spacers so it's a bit neater up front, then you need to take the crown race off the old fork without damaging it,then you need to fit a star fangled nut correctly then decide if the brake mount is the same? Some of these rockshox forks now come with 180mm post mounts. (edited)
    GrabbyFeet's avatar
    GrabbyFeet
this fork is 180mm post mount and 220mm max rotor iirc

Would this fit a 2013 cube reaction pro? It currently has Fox 32 Float CTD 29 O/C, 100mm but i keep having to pump it up but only go on short rides with my son. I suspect a fork service would cost more than this. All help appreciated

I can see this bike has a tapered fork, but it's impossible to know the size. You will find out by removing the fork

Mine arrived, but i'm looking at at Fox seal kit and fluid. I reckon i could fix mine myself.
    GrabbyFeet's avatar
    GrabbyFeet
Working on fox forks is no problem. Basically the same as the RS. Your issue is likely just the air spring/shaft seal has worn and is slowly leaking. The schrader valve core could also be a culprit so swap that too. New wiper seals, oil and an internal seal kit should leave it feeling like a new fork (edited)
