Details

Coming equipped with robust 32mm STKM steel stanchions, this race-ready XC fork is tough and dependable when handling the impacts associated cross country riding. Suntour has also kitted out this model with magnesium lower legs for a superior strength to weight ratio. Another benefit is its coil spring with a preload adjuster, which delivers amazingly smooth shock absorption and feel as you tackle everything that the terrain throws at you.

In addition, its Speed Lockout means that you can lock the travel for easier climbing and minimised energy loss when riding on flat surfaces. Coming complete with disc brake compatibility, this model offers reliable and consistent front-end suspension performance at an affordable price.

Ready for fast and fun rides, this model is kitted out with 160mm postmount disc brake rotor compatibility (180mm max). This allows you to use it along with your favourite hydraulic disc brakes and benefit from power and consistent braking performance as well as a controlled front end as you charge across the XC course.

I have an old beater bike in the shed which has a crusty set of rock shox judys on. These would probably do to get that running again. I guess there’ll be a few people in this boat?

You would likely need a straight head tube to tapered tube fork headset adapter. Adding another £20 or so to the cost.

How do I check whether my bike fits any of these? Thanks.

Check you have a tapered steerer, check you have boost spacing and check your wheels have thru axles. (edited)

Don't buy this, if you want suspension then this isn't it. It's unreliable and sticky, heavy and just doesn't work.

Total junk that should never be manufactured and only exists to satisfy people who want a bike with ‘suspension’ in the description and don’t care if it does anything or is made of cheese, which is the only way it would be worth £24.99.

just don't, there is no point to these, you really get what you pay for which is something that is the bottom rung of the ladder

    A broken rung at that

    I think so too

I think they have been struggling to shift them. One review from 4 months again said they paid £35.

I do struggle to see much of a use case for them though. A fork of this level would come on most £400-£600 hard tails, so I would imagine people would be upgrading from something like these.
Hope someone finds some use from it but I struggle to see it.

Maybe if they wanted a cheap way to get a boost axel

I would have these for free, terrible terrible fork

My heart almost stopped. I thought this was just a motorised fork, and I had an existential crisis.

    Sorry, not today

This would be ideal for beater bikes only problem is the fork is tapered, most beater bikes are straight pipe so it's useless fork

Hence the price. CRC do some super deals on shocks, but they're always for the most niche fork specs
