    We switched to glass or metal containers primarily for health reasons, plastic can leach into food especially where oily foods are concerned or when heated like with microwavable containers.

    They do although price at IKEA has gone up I think as now £5 for 17 piece set and sure were something like £3.50 before. As 2 of the extra here are useful size ones (tiny one are little used by us) then this is probably slightly better value.

    Edit: just checked as someone posted this item 2 months ago and ikea price was £4.20 then. Sure I paid less so had gone up even before that. (edited)

    These look like the set I have at home, they are cheap, thin plastic but are reasonably durable and very cheap.
