Great price methinks, I'd prefer this over my CONTIGO (drinks) flasks, given its versatility, the "bowl" (doubling as a mug) being key. Obviously they are 2 very different items in terms of ease of use. (this not being ideal for a driver) I'm now looking out for one. :)
The red one is £15 online @ Sainsbury's and Amazon. https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/travel-bottles--mugs---flasks/thermos-king-food-flask-red-470ml Great deal op (y)
OK, but they're going to have to be pretty small. It's only 470ml.
Absolute bargain! I have two for my twins. Bought two yrs ago from Sainsbury's. £20 at Argos and other stores.
If it helps, I boyght the Asda own brand Noodle bowl last week for £1
Thanks OP, ordered two with my delivery
was in Tesco today these were all gone, but noticed Tesco are now selling own brand (??) bigger versions of various microwave safe bowls, they had what looked like a larger portion stew/porridge/soup bowl for only £3
In store only I think Got two from Colchester Ave, Cardiff.
Any chance of a link ?
Excellent. Good to see that.
£6 in Sainsburys
At least these bottles have distinctive caps. A problem with generic ones off Amazon is they all use a polished steel cap ringed by dimples - which look identical but aren't. When you put the wrong cap on the wrong bottle you get leaks. These look nice but caps with built in dispensers are better IMHO.
Not yet, but then being a miser I don't have an instant pot. IF someone were to buy one for me... ;)
Whitey English bloke review. Unfortunaly i could never get on with a rice cooker, but I definitely got on with the Sistema. 75g of rice per person, washed a lot. I never measure the water cos I'm too lazy, just cover the rice in the bottom plus about 2cm, bit of salt and nuke for 8 to 10 minutes. Wholegrain rice takes longer to cook. I don't think it's absolutely perfect rice, but it certainly isn't far off. Better for me is the fact it is very easy and there's minimal mess. £5 is an sound investment especially if you're currently using those microwave rice sachets, because rice made with this works out at around 10p or so per portion - and is better.
And? I just said that was the one I upgraded to for the family should anyone want a reliable, trustworthy rice cooker having outgrown the Sistema one. If you don't like it, jog on.
Sistema good brand, very reliable. Not got this myself but used other Sistema microwavable kitchenware and always been good. Hot from me. Thanks for posting.
Plenty in Burnley, on the seasonal aisle. Cheers OP and the person that mentioned this otherwise I wouldn't have checked (y)
