SELF-LIT Pixels

LG OLED TV is a joy to behold. Self-lit pixels allow truly spectacular picture quality and a whole host of design possibilities, while the latest cutting-edge technologies help deliver unprecedented levels of wonder. This is everything you love about TV - elevated in every way.

Infinite Contrast

Put simply, OLED has millions of self-lit pixels that can turn on and off to achieve perfect black and infinite contrast. That black is better than both mini-LED and LED TVs. So, it does not matter how many thousands of back-lights they have, LED TVs will still be in OLED shadow.

100% Color Fidelity

Global testing agency Intertek has confirmed that LG OLED displays have 100% color fidelity. This means that the colors you see on the screen closely match the colors of the original image. So, everything you watch looks as the creator intended.

100% Color Volume

LG OLED TVs achieve full Color Volume thanks to the excellent color reproduction technology of LG TVs. With 100% Color Volume, LG OLED can express 100% of the DCI-P3 spectrum across a 3D color space that covers the TVs full luminance range. This means that colors remain vivid and lifelike with full saturation no matter how bright or dark the display.

OLED Cinema

LG OLED TV produces an award-worthy performance every time you watch thanks to its incredibly sharp picture. And with perfect black and 100% color fidelity, movies are seen how they are meant to be seen.

Dolby Vision IQ & Dolby Atmos

Dolby Vision IQ intelligently adjusts picture settings based on content genre and ambient surroundings, while Dolby Atmos delivers multi-dimensional surround sound - a powerful combination that produces breathtakingly cinematic results.

FILMMAKER MODE

FILMMAKER MODE turns off motion smoothing while preserving the original aspect ratios, colors, and frame rates. This accurately delivers the directors original vision, so you experience the film the way they intended.

HDR 10 Pro

LG own dynamic range technology, HDR 10 Pro, adjusts brightness to enhance color, reveal every tiny detail, and bring lifelike clarity to every image - it also intensifies regular HDR content. Now all your favorite movies and shows will be more vivid and vibrant from beginning to end.

An unbeatable combo

LG continues to work with industry-leading companies to ensure you get the best possible gaming experience. We partnered with NVIDIA and AMD to make LG OLED TV the only G-SYNC and AMD Free Sync Premium certified TV. And on top of that, we joined forces with Xbox to unleash the full potential of next-gen gaming, becoming the official TV partner of the Xbox Series X console.

The Latest Gaming Specs

LG OLED TVs are capable of a 1 ms response time, while support for VRR, ALLM, and eARC meets the latest HDMI 2.1 specifications. Additionally, OLED C1 and G1 are now the world first TVs to support the incredible Dolby Vision HDR at 4K 120 Hz for gaming, enhancing the playing experience to previously unseen levels.

Sports Alert

Sports Alert notifies you before, during, and after games. You will never have to worry about missing the big plays from your favorite teams, even when you are watching other content.

Bluetooth Surround Ready

Easily connect Bluetooth speakers for a true wireless surround sound experience. All the action sounds richer and more realistic, bringing the big-game atmosphere to your living room.

α9 Gen4 AI Processor 4K

At the core of every LG OLED TV is the α9 Gen4 AI Processor 4K, a ground-breaking chip that uses deep-learning algorithms to analyse and optimize content. Every adjustment to picture and sound is automatic, so everything you watch is spectacular.

AI Picture Pro

Using a vast database of over one million visual data points, the deep-learning algorithm recognizes content, removes noise, and optimizes picture quality. And the new Scene Detection feature can now analyse the type of scene being shown and improve the picture accordingly.

AI Sound Pro

By learning from more than 17 million audio data points, the processor identifies voices, effects, and frequencies so it can then optimize the sound by genre for a more immersive experience. And the new Auto Volume Leveling feature maintains consistent voice levels across different types of content.

AI ThinQ

LG ThinQ is here to maximize your TV experience. Choose your favorite voice assistant and control your TV with your voice with an all new home screen to provide more convenience and control.

Voice Command

LG ThinQ allows simple command and control of your Home IoT ecosystem with natural voice recognition. With Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, you can control your LG OLED TV with your voice and access entertainment faster.

New Home

Your days of endlessly searching for new content or old favorites are coming to an end. The home screen has been redesigned to show you everything worth watching, all in one place. Enjoy personalized content recommendations based on your watch history, quick access to a variety of content, and easier control of connected devices.

New Magic Remote

The redesigned Magic Remote has an ergonomic design that is easy to hold, and its point and scroll system allows faster searching. Built-in AI provides easy access to services, while hotkeys for major content providers give you shortcuts to all your favorites. In addition to all that you now have Magic Tap, a clever new trick that connects your phone to your TV.

Eye Comfort

If you worry about you and your family eyes, LG OLED TVs provide a more comfortable way to watch for longer. They have been certified as low-blue light, flicker-free, and discomfort glare-free displays by international agencies TUV Rhineland (TUV) and Underwriter Laboratories (UL). LG OLED TVs are also the first panels from any kind of TV to receive the Eyesafe certification developed by TUV-Eyesafe.

Richer sounds will beat this price by £10 and give an extra year warranty

    Not always the case pal.
Last week one of their rivals had it on at £754
    Phoned RS.
RS told me they would not beat it(even for VIP members),but they'd match it!

Anyone know how to register the warranty? Do I register it on the LG website? I emailed rgbdirect and they said they register the warranty for me. And that I will receive the policy via email. So I wasn't sure and thought I'd ask people who also bought the TV from rgbdirect.
    Samt9797's avatar
Documents came through from domestic and general in the post. They register for you. Not sure about the 1 year with lg though

The massive price reductions in electronics is proof we are going into a recession/depression. The things you need will go up in price, the things you want will drop.
    toner84's avatar
I thought with inflation... Everything would be going up in price?
Also the fact that it's a discontinued set from 21 is having an effect on price...
  4. legend86's avatar
Cracking price, I have this in the bedroom, a CX in the living room, and a Panasonic JZ980 in the games room.

You can not beat an OLED TV for me for overall picture quality.

I was lucky enough to get my C1 with the newer panel technology, but it's a lottery.

At this price, it's a great TV for the money. Have some heat.
    Deal_searcher's avatar
Is it still a lottery? I would expect all the c1s now to have the new panel

Hello, I ordered this last week from RGB , I went through the finance option but they still haven't confirmed the order . It just says "awaiting processing " , even though I ordered it for last Thursday delivery

I've tried ringing them for confirmation but I cannot get through to them at all.

When I try to cancel the order it says I haven't got any current orders . 🤷‍♂️

So , should I give up and order elsewhere or wait till it's "processed " ? Really want this TV. Thanks

I spoke to them on the phone yesterday. Was waiting for ages for customer service or something then the automated line said it was putting me through to sales. Maybe go straight through to sales?

Let’s keep going down - £500 by June at this rate, £250 by Christmas

To be clear it definitely is a 5 year warranty.

They told me it's a manufacturer warranty for one year and Domestic and General for the remaining four.

    domesticandgeneral.com/ (edited)
    Fader209's avatar
Do you know what the procedure is? I contacted them about the warranty and they didn't mention domestic & general at all and were generally very vague.
    Thanks for any help.
  10. foxxes's avatar
I've got image burn on my E7 that has only just gone beyond the warranty 🤦
I tried to contact LG to enquire about a out of warranty repair but they told me that this service is currently unavailable and don't know when it will be back and gave me details of a local engineer. Has anyone recently managed a repair with LG I got the feeling they were just fobbing me off.

I just ordered this TV from rgb direct.

I went to Richard Sounds this morning and they could do the price match although only one year warranty. The manger there was great very honest it seemed. He said their system would only allow one year and this happens on selective TVs. He said these TVs are being sold close to Breakeven, because the new TVs are coming out and Richard sounds can't give additional warranty even if you paid.
  13. Anwar_Hussain's avatar
Thanks OP! Just bought this to replace my existing C1. My niece smashed the screen and LG want to charge £700 for a new screen alone
  14. peter1969uk's avatar
I wish they would deliver here, I’m watching 24 on a 32” TV.
    UKScottDeals's avatar
It'll look like a blurry mess on a bigger screen anyway.
  15. sifer69's avatar
Been waiting a while to pull the trigger on a 55" OLED. Finally got the OK from 'Management'! Thanks OP!

You have gotten the nod from the 'Long Haired General' haha

5yr warranty not included in this price. It is available but for additional £181.44. Rather deceiving as not clear until you checkout
UPDATE: Extended warranty is the explanation here, rgb could make this clearer though.

    Wow! Prices are getting silly.

    I thought I got myself a bargain paying around £900 for a 55' CX a year and a half ago! (that's over £1000 in today's money).

    Awesome deal!
  18. hermano2's avatar
These are now 2 years old..... surely expected to be significantly reduced?
  19. RagnarUK's avatar
    £699!!??
Who will be the first to go under £700?
  20. tracker's avatar
Great deal £749, just checked 5 year warranty is included. Not sure if it will get cheaper, but you never know, let's see.
    RagnarUK's avatar
    £699 is coming
New models coming in...old going out...more discounts on the way

I am still within 14 days on my purchase RS should price beat this and give me £20 back?
    legend86's avatar
Yes, Dine this a few times. RS are always great with this.
  22. gummby's avatar
To all those that bought in November. It is cheaper than Black Friday and you were wise to wait.
    RagnarUK's avatar
How much was it on black Friday?
  23. gummby's avatar
This is just in time for the Lionesses at the world cup this summer. Watch our girls win in HD.
(Don't mention that bit to the Mrs for the reason for buying it.)

This was the tv O had settled on until I realised that the screen is only 3cm off the stand and I cannot put a soundbar in front of it. And after holding off for a price drop, my 2nd choice, the Qn90A is suddenly nowhere to be found
    xT-g-K's avatar
If it isn't very tall it can go in front and works fine. I had a Sonos Beam in front and it admittedly did block some of the screen but very little. Otherwise, look to mount it if you can or get a vesa stand and you'll be able to fit the bar under.
  25. Natt's avatar
    Currys price matched via chat.
    codebee's avatar
Out of curiosity why use Currys instead?
  26. zairs's avatar
Does the 5 years include burn in repairs?
    Messiah's avatar
    Would also like to know
  27. oceanic's avatar
is this new or refurbished customer returns ex display etc?

so many retailers don't make it clear.

also are you guys sure it's 5 year warranty given, it says 1 year at checkout?

UPDATE: seems it is 5 years basic warranty. (edited)
    Natt's avatar
    Email them and ask.
  28. Deal_searcher's avatar
This will be new. Interesting to know if anyone has price matched with richer sounds and got 6 year warranty. At richer sounds they are advertising it with 1 year warranty
  29. CharlesLeeRay's avatar
Got £350 JL vouchers and just found out they no longer price match?!
    Deal_searcher's avatar
    That's correct
  30. CharlesLeeRay's avatar
    Ordered, be rude not to.

That's my 3rd OLED. Got the 48A26LA last week and it's fantastic.

We need a 55" for mixed use. Probably 20% gaming time. Does the C1 do ok for gamers? PS5
    rev6's avatar
    Sure
  32. gummby's avatar
Why not register for it as D and G may send you to them anyway?
  33. Usman_Dar's avatar
For anyone interested, currys price matched this but they won't remove their delivery charge
  34. Playmarky's avatar
Curry's just said they will price match, not sure if to order from their or RGB Direct?
