They're canvas shoes, so will be 'thin' compared to walking shoes or running trainers, but should be robust.
They look lined, so ideal for casual summer use, not so good for all year hiking or running a marathon.

Ecru is normally a cream/beige colour. In the pictures the canvas looks whiter than the white sole part, so... white.
Don't knock it, it's probably the main reason they didn't sell well and have to be sold at 70% off.
Most won't see your soles, and it's actually quite ironically amusing if you don't normally do virtue signalling and clearly don't follow veganism.
