Nice to pair with the TGV deal and could get to Swizterland return for £120 which whilst slightly more than flying way cheaper than it normally is for the train

Have you seen what is happening in a France?
    Paris, Brüssel?
Just about the increased pension age?

Protests now for longer than a month, still not safe down there.
    That's why it's so cheap.

    Be aware.

France is always like this, a dramatic protest at least once a year to show you they care

The low fare finder shows some £39 fares to Amsterdam & Rotterdam.

Play around with dates to find a cheap fare, and try the EARTHDAY code via OMIO app.
You might not get as low as £69.81, but could be close.

Got to checkout and omio added £10 service fee, so with the 10% off it works out only £2.19 cheaper than buying direct from Eurostar… might as well buy direct from Eurostar.

Shame these get into Brussels at 10pm at these prices, by the time you've headed to Antwerp or Bruges its a midnight or later hotel check-in...rather pay the extra tenner or so and get in late afternoon

How long will the protests really last in France? Should be ok by June right? But maybe Brussels is the safer choice?

To use the low fare finder for London to Lille, just search for Brussels fares, and all Brussels trains stop at Lille.

Was in Bordeaux before Easter, days after the rioting there. All quiet. Don't miss up an opportunity such as this because of risk

I was in Paris last week. Loads of tourists, walked everywhere and didn't see any trouble at all. All the main attractions open as usual.

    Almost always the case.

Demonstrations in Paris (and I've been caught up in them in Nice) are by majority peaceful and the common observation is that the violence and chaos is led by a combination of politically extremist provocateurs, 'anarchistes', local idiot teen vandal types and crime gangs who use the opportunity of the demonstrations to escalate city centre chaos which results in les flics - cops - being called in from the districts to redeploy in the centre which gangs try to use to bring trafficked product into the district or move stolen goods around or whatever.

In the middle of a student demo in Nice a bunch of vandals broke off from the street march and went running through the Nice Etoile shopping mall kicking displays over in stores and shouting loud prompting the centre security to put the centre into lockdown.

I was in there for a meeting in a cafe and while it was a suddenly scary moment in the wake of terror attacks etc. it passed quickly with the reassurance of the security staff. Stepping out into the street again and watching the tail end of the police-escorted demo head down toward the seafront. In the wake were left a couple of cars with smashed windscreens and some public bin fires.

Idiots will do idiotic things. They do that everywhere.

Code doesn't work. I've been looking at the eurostar to Brussels for the confer league final on June 7th flying out from Brussels but the code doesn't work for the dates I'm looking at

Sorry, this code is not valid. Please check all the characters and try again. If you still have an issue, please read ‘Need help?’ or contact us. (edited)
