I tried Hozelock standard and Hozelock Premium, both lasted a year. Had the above for 3 years, kept outside, weathering very well (edited)
If you read through the reviews of this, many - like me, were replacing plastic connector guns with metal ones for the same reason.
Really impressed with the quality, design and feel.
