How do you remove the extra water from the mop itself - do you have to take the pad our, squeeze it and put it back on - reason I ask is because I am looking for something to mop excess water from the bathroom that spills out of the bath tub etc? Thanks.

This is really for cleaning rather than mopping up spills. Will handle small spills, but for what you’re talking about you’d have to remove the pad and wring it out with your hands.

This mop is great - really makes very short work out of cleaning the floors!

This seems to be a much older design and not rated too well on Amazon.

This is the newer model but much more expensive: hotukdeals.com/dea…342

This is the newer one, ‘max’ model. Bigger tank and you can flip the pad during usage, which sounds useful. Not looked into the reviews though.

Bargain! Thank you. Was looking to purchase this a few weeks ago. Snapped it up without hesitation at this price.

Purchased the other model of this (without the rotating floor pad) last year, as was recommended it by the flooring fitter for use on LVT. I still use the Vileda spin mop for bigger cleans as in my opinion, that gives a better clean… but the spray mop is great for inbetween cleans. It isn’t incredibly durable - after 12 months of use, there’s a leak which causes water to spray out of a random place when in use. I’ve read reviews saying they are prone to leaking when not being used which I haven’t experienced myself. I think all in all, even at RRP they are good value though.

Bought this one to replace it.

Are you people still sweating it out, physically man-handling a mop to clean floors ? Come on peeps, sit back, put your feet up, and grab 3 pints of lager and a packet of crisps, and chill whilst bingeing on whatever takes your fancy. Just prompt ChatGPT / AI to do all the household chores – that's the whole purpose of AI / ML – to automate all the tasks in life.

The next thing on the list of things to replace through automation are the PITA HUKD m0ds. Come on Pepper, time to dump the m0ds for ethical AI algorithms. (edited)

I bought one of these when Dunelm where selling them for £7.50 and it's still in the box, I am so used to a mop and bucket 🤭

Ok, so how does this work? I understand you press a button which sprayed water in front of the mop, you then slide the mop on the floor. What’s happens to the dirt you have removes from the floor? Do you need a bucket of clean water to keep rinsing the mob? Sorry, little confused.
    add1ct3dd's avatar
Agreed, feels like you still need a bucket to clean the mop... nobody else seems to have thought of this and I wonder what they think mopping the floor does, if there's nowhere for the dirt to go you're just rubbing it around!

Very handy to use. No filling mop and bucket. Spray and go. Our laminate (LVT) has never been so clean! Just buy many of the flooring sprays availabe rather than thier own expensive one.

Any recommendations for the flooring spray for oak flooring.

Is the mop head standard Velcro?
    angleseyman's avatar
No these are not the universal ones like the other makes , this one uses specific heads , i was going to purchase one a few months back until i found this out …….. already have about 10 of the velcro heads

Would recommend a steam mop over this
    sydney871's avatar
I've had three highly rated steam mops they all broke down after about 2 years just when the warranty ran out so would rather buy something like this then spend a lot of money only for it to stop working...
  23. trimtrab4's avatar
For Laminate, where a steam mop isn’t recommend this is great as the mop bit is quite tough rather than sponge material. A spare mop head for this alone is about £10. It flips which means you can use it a while and I’ve washed mine loads and it still works as it should
  24. MrChase007's avatar
Does it come with a pad or do you have to buy separately?

Must have sold out as £27 for me
