So unlike some of the newer Nespresso machines, you can actually use 3rd party capsules with these?
    jimmy2007's avatar
I've used third party pods with my nespresso from day 1.
Best value for money in my opinion are the Lidl pods, purple box.

I have had this machine and it's a bit of a pain.
It's very bulky to start with and the 2 spouts are a bit of a nightmare if you're having a single espresso.
Also, the same coffee pods come out a lot more watery then the nespresso magimix.
I sent it back after a couple of weeks.

I have this at home and Magimix Nespresso at work, can't really tell the difference. The L'or actually has a lot more options in terms of volume/strenght of your coffee. Have you gone through the manual? I admit it's not straight forward with the buttons and different options under the same button and then different size pods giving different results. But once you get the hang of it, I find it brilliant. I much prefer it to the (a lot more expensive) Magimix at work. (edited)

Does anybody know the difference between the sublime and original versions please? I can't seem to find any information comparing them
    Chuckoir82's avatar
I think the original has the integrated milk frother. That's what it looks like to me anyway!
  5. c58's avatar
Can confirm it's back in stock and ordered. 8.4% TCB as well
  6. Chuckoir82's avatar
As above, back in stock as I too just ordered
  7. kingmonkey69's avatar
Still in stock - order placed
  8. markrduk's avatar
I’m pretty sure they’re just putting it out of stock temporarily to catch up on fulfilment a bit…
    Potterified's avatar
Thank you so, so much for your comment. I checked again when I read it and waa able to place an order!

Anybody know how the Nespresso machines and pods rate compared to a Dolce Gusto machine and pods? Got one last year for around a similar price. But always find Nespresso pods much cheaper than the Dolce Gusto

Great thing about this machine is that you can use Nespresso Pods.
  10. EDOSTATE's avatar
Thoughts on the original? Bit more pricey but looks tempting with the milk frother
    markrduk's avatar
Don't get integrated milk frother. If one or the other goes fautly you have a giant paperweight attached!

Great deal and good alternative Nespresso machine. My Sage Nespresso machine died after 3 years and endless repairs and I couldn’t find a replacement machine at a good price as Nespresso are flooding the market with the dearer Nespresso Vertuo machines, which cost a fortune to run as you can only buy pods from Nespresso. This L’Or machine (which is made by Philips) makes better coffee than my old Nespresso machine due to the fact it has a higher bar pressure. Great deal and the free L’or coffee is very nice too.

My order was apparently 'lost'and refund given despite tracking number being supplied. Phoned customer services but no repeat offer given as hoped for.....

Be prepared to deal with Jacobs' customer service. The way my order was handled was a complete joke. First order lost before Evri even picked it up - refunded after about 2 weeks. Second order allegedly lost by Evri, again refunded. Got a £10 discount with that as well. Third order arrived after a few days in the thinnest possible cardboard box with several holes and coffee boxes falling out.

Then the same day my second order arrived to the collection point! Box was glued and taped together (had more tape on it than cardboard) so obviously it wasn't lost by Evri but rather damaged in transit and went back to their hub to be repackaged, but L'or didn't bother to check with Evri.

In the end it took almost a month of going back and forth with their customer service but received 2 machines and 300 pods for the price of one bundle with a further £10 discount.

On the plus side I've got a spare machine to give to a friend and another good thing is that the customer service people are actually quite helpful once you get through to them on the phone (don't recommend email forms, they never get back to those).

Machine is great and the coffee is tasty but be warned of the silly hoops you have to jump through to get your order. I wasn't the only person with these issues either - just look at comments on previous deal. (edited)

If you've not given your other machine away, can I be your friend ?

Seems like a great deal. Thank you

Received mine today. Very pleased 130 pods as two oos. But came with an extra tasting pack of 9 pods and £9 worth of vouchers.
  19. llcoolam's avatar
Anyone else still waiting on theirs? Ordered on Wednesday and Evri just have ‘your package is with us’ on the tracking 🤦🏾‍♂️
Evri seriously do my nut in!
    Potterified's avatar
When did you get the Evri mail? In my experience, from the time I got the email from Evri to my first cup of coffee was under 24 hours.
  20. MrShark's avatar
I'm not sure if still in stock as I haven't checked, I just wanted to feel part of something on this slow work day.
  21. tonyspoons's avatar
If you low ball the value of the branded pods at 20p each, then this is cracking value at £29 for the machine. In reality it's even better. (edited)

    Ordered

Ordered this machine a couple of weeks ago. Really happy. We ordered the machine with separate milk frother and 100 pods for about £120. Good choice of pods available too. (edited)

My one just arrived - very nice but the containing box they packed it in was paper thin and got damaged in transit. Just realised I'm missing a couple of boxes of pods... You would think they would pack it a bit better.
    markrduk's avatar
Same! Which pods were you missing if you don’t mind me asking? Was it the ultimo ones?
  28. theframe8's avatar
Back in stock, just ordered a piano black one
  29. John_Williamsx4g's avatar
Can't order does not recognise postcode, tried before, emailed them too no answer

    Heat, ordered.
  31. FionnMac's avatar
Does this really come with 150 pods? Seems to list singles and 2x of various types, totalling about 15?
    jj247's avatar
Each of those 15 packs has 10 pods in. It also comes with a trial box so you actually get more than 150.
  32. joe.baillieSmp's avatar
Do the pods come loose or boxed? Are they like bundle branded or just like a retail packaging? I'm thinking of getting this and gifting some of the pods to a relative so good deal potentially
    watfordshire's avatar
Ordered 2nd one, can't fault it.Pretty good deal.Loose pod boxes and machine with its own packaging come in one big box therefor slightly squashed capsules but just few.Inside machine there is a about 10 single selection capsules and discount vouchers too.
  33. hclawlor's avatar
Trying to checkout but keeps coming up saying payment refused. No reason for this. Has anyone else had this problem?
  34. Dazzer68's avatar
Excellent. Thanks. Been looking for a tassimo replacement as they only take their own expensive pods! Third party pods are the way to go!
  35. marky.mark's avatar
    Ordered, thanks op, heat added
  36. m_undersingh's avatar
Ordered thanks looks a great deal for the machine alone. Bargain with some free pods
  37. Raihan11x's avatar
Got £10.40 refund as 2x pods weren’t available, knocked down further with TCB to £43.64 not too bad
    Potterified's avatar
You mean you had a couple of packs missing in your parcel?
  38. watfordshire's avatar
I suggest get milk frother separately like VonShef one.
  39. Cremoso99's avatar
So it's £59 with 150 capsules and £69.99 without any capsules, makes sense.
  40. EDOSTATE's avatar
Are there any chaii latte pods that are compatible with this?

I found some Dolce Gusto compatible ones but not sure if they'd work with this?

    Thanks in advance!
